Seasoned to taste is a change of a few squadrons or upgrades. Dump Yavaris (its worthless with 5 A-Wings whose job it is to fly out and let Sato go to Work) and Embrace the Pelta

Unlikely.

Your MC30's are super expensive (135 and 99 is way too much for a 4-hull ship), you have your commander on an MC30 so he's virtually guaranteed to die, you have an odd number of squadrons so your deployments are inefficient, you're using Foresight without Mon Mothma at all, you have Yavaris on a support Neb with one squadron activation, you have Yavaris in a list with only A-wings, you have no way to efficiently deal with flotillas, and you have Toryn Farr in a list to which she'll provide pretty minimal utility.

I'm not sure what your game plan is here, but the list looks pretty dubious to me.

IF you wanted to consider this style of list a Meta Archtype... Then I'd look this way:

(And there's still a 10 point Bid to work a way through some things.... I'm not happy myself with only 3 Xs, for example, but I figured they'd be okay at Moving out at Speed 4, all jumping near someone, so all the Long Range Black Criticals can come - they'r emore survivable than A-Wings, and they can dish out Anti-Squadron... But as Ard says above, they're an uneven deployment, and I'm not happy with the rest - but its how I'd kinda see it... I'm sure someone better than me could refine it further...)

I prefer H9s in Sato's case.

Hitting a Brace with an ACC is better than more damage, when you're dealing ludicrous amounts of Damage.

Take TRCs if you're unsure or unlucky, to be sure... But if you want to maximise damage potential, then H9s for Brace-Stopping is the way to do it.

That is a good point. Salvation and TRC are so linked in my mind I didn't even consider a different Turbolaser. I think Spinal Armament could also have potential, but H9 is probably better (and cheaper).

Intel Officer is probably better with Salvation's style. It wants to shoot at a fairly large target over the course of several rounds with as much distance between the targets as possible.

I've been running Spinal. TRC removes Salvation's problem with variance, but at the cost of the single evade token. I'd rather have that available for trading long range fire and either winning that exchange with Savlation alive or forcing my opponent to devote more shots than he'd like to destroying Savlation.

Sato will be nice on Savlation, but it still does nothing for Salvation's variance problem. If you can feed it CF tokens every round, it makes a world of difference.

Personally, I wouldn't ever put TRC's on a Neb-B (even Salvation). That single evade makes it just not worth it.

On Salvation, Spinals are a good choice - if you want dice modification, the upcoming Dual Turbolaser Turrets look exciting. In addition, I like slaved turrets on Salvation, especially if you aren't relying on double-arcing with your neb-b (and let's be honest, we seldom do). Mostly what you lose is potential anti-squadron fire.

Erhm... Why not? I do... That's a free 33% increase in firepower at long range, 66% at close-medium (slightly less with Salvation, but the point stands), at the small cost of flying it well.

I see people building these lists with Sato and I usually see Tycho, which is great, but how come people don't also put in Han Solo? Solo and Sato are a match made in heaven.

Yea.. but you're paying a premium for reliability, what happens when those 2 A wings or 2 X wings get tied down before they get into distance 1? Arguably Han can also get tied down but he's less likely since he has grit and can hit like a truck and then move without a squadron command. I'm also curious if the fleet command All Fighters Follow Me! actually applies to Han's ability, I can't recall the wording though. Ultimately, Han or 2 of whatever are both valid strategies, but I never see my boy Han get mentioned.

Correction, I misremembered Han's ability as simply allowing him to activate at the start of the Ship Phase, when in fact it does specifically say "as if you were activated by a ship."

I still don't think it applies, but it's less cut and dry than I'd thought it was.

The cost of slaved turrets almost always outweighs the benefits, sure. I just find Salvation one of the two places where that is not always true. The second place is on a Vic-1 carrier, where it helps add a little extra punch.
