This was probably the first streamed Regionals I really had a chance to watch large chunks of, and it was super high quality with that dice greenscreen. I was, unfortunately, puking my guts out for the elimination matches. It was like 10 minutes bowing to the Porcelain Goddess, 45 minutes in a hazy doze on the couch, and 5 minutes of "cool, Phild0 is still in it", repeat for 8 hours.

What was the full RAC/Ryad list? I have one of those that I fly a lot and Ive been trying to make it work for months now. I'm interested to see the exact upgrades.

His list is definely more offensive than my somewhat defense focused one. Hotshot and juke is an interesting combo though. Don't know that I'd have Vader on there anymore with total health pools of enemy ships on the rise, even though he is AMAZING vs those attani lists. I think the biggest difference between my list and his though is that his RAC is able to hit other defenders consistently...

I think Kylo is extremely overrated. I've done some play testing and the people that are saying it's overpowered and rebel regen will be gone are completely wrong. Kylo is good but not meta breaking. Rant over. As far as replacing Vader to answer your question for Phild0 I think it's a good alternative

Switching targets wtih Gunner is an amazing trick. I say him use this trick against dual Defenders, leaving Vessery and Ryad without focus for their attacks. It is a pretty good list.

He used predator to reroll hits on hopes of missing with his first shot. Well executed and masterfully flown.

Absolutely. Top notch stream and every one of them needs that blue "greenscreen" cam. God, just reminds me how terrible the worlds stream was.

Part of the value isn't so much for Whisper (though stripping focus for return shots can be good) -- but its also very valuable in setting the Delta up for a shot at a tokenless target. Would be stronger if the other ship had Juke, though.

Not to mention value for stripping Mindlink tokens.

"Matt" here. Couple people commented on the list, so I give my thoughts. Overall it seems to be decent, as I took a the same list (rebel captive instead of hot-shot) to top 16 at Canadian Nationals. I switched to hot-shot on a whim without every even seeing it in play or knowing anything about it. My rational was that I could poke tokens off of would be attackers. Moreover, I thought there would be a lot of TLT spam, giving me the ability to cripple their offense if they had to spend tokens. How often do you see a tlt shot where they save their tokens to make sure they can get 3 hits? Secondly, clearing tokens so that my shuttle and defender could also up their damage output was also a serious consideration. Anyways, it honestly didn't help a whole lot during the tourney, although that was hard to tell because it forced people to take other actions.

As far as the Delta Defender, he's my hero! Basic strategy of the list is to put him in Peril and spend my tokens and palpatine keeping him alive, meanwhile whisper flanks, and waits till she can get in range one with focus, tl, and a palp crit, usually blowing up the ship that gets shot my a 5 hit attack.

If you watched my game against phil.... Well that was embarrassing... Tough break on a range 3 call. Oh well, I should've actually thrown the shuttle at him. I was pretty tired and was excited to get to go home after a long day. 2nd regional in a row I lost to Phil in the top 4. He's always a great opponent though, glad he won!
