Happy Friday! I used Rexlar's ability twice in one game last night, and the second time won me the game by flipping four hits...I feel like I got an X-Wing achievement!

Tonight I'll be getting the Christmas decorations down from the loft. Tomorrow I'll be putting them up and attending my Wife's Xmas work dinner (get to wear a tux for the first time!)

BUT! On Sunday I have a tournament at my local shop. My brother is coming down to join in. Fingers crossed :)

Rogue One viewing sorted too! In the evening on the 15th with my brothers and sister.

Happy Friday.

Exams are starting on Monday, so not too much X-Wing for me, but I should get in a few games with my newly acquired Punisher and (used) Falcon. Gonna try out Deathrain, Redline, Outer Rim Smuggler, and Chewie. Plus I get to use my alt-art Corran.

I need my work schedule from Sooooooooooooooooooubway before I can book tickets unfortunately.

Happy Friday! I got to play another CR90 campaign mission, but we ended up playing it wrong. Then got to play a game of Star Wars Destiny. That was a lot of fun! Too bad I have no cash for it.

The game store was EMPTY as everyone went to another one for Destiny. There were only 4 players.

No X-Wing joy for me this weekend but I wish you all happy casual flying!

Busy night tonight for me. Xwing night until around 9-10, then bowling sendoff party for a buddy going into the marines at 11.

Im gonna be tired....im usually in bed by 11 lol. Im not old i swear!

I did get to play DnD with my son and his friends tonight. They are mostly around 11 years old...and one other Dad. I am the DM and set them up on a big adventure that's literally taken them most of this year to get to. Finally there, they fight some bad guys. They are really into it and manage to outwit and outsmart the bad guys. The best part is when my son, the cleric, casts a Blindness spell on the enemy leader. He stands up and shouts, "By the power of St. Cuthbert and the strength of the Cudgel, I Blind thee with my magic might!" It was so cool. I had to give him bonus points for the dramatic way to cast the spell.

I love this. My sons are grown, and the eldest, who rekindled my love of games by getting me into Magic when it first started rolling into the big time, recently asked me to show him X-Wing and we played a game with no upgrade cards. (Many of those old cards were sold off so I could buy into X-Wing, though I still have four or five of my favorite decks.) He will not be buying anything but is assured of getting in games via my collection. He has a son now and it's going to be a thrill to go third generation into table top games when the toddler is old enough.

It's wonderful to be able to be a kid with your kids and D&D seems like one of the finest ways to do that. It's a lifetime thing. Thanks for sharing!
