Evening all!
Just upgraded my solo Skids deck with a couple of 'Sure Gamble's. I immediately came up with a rules question that I wanted to check with people.
The card states;
{Fast. Play after you reveal a chaos token with a negative modifier. Switch that token's "-" with a "+".}
Okay, so, question, does a special token that has a minus modifier assigned by the difficulty setting card for that scenario, can I use it? To illustrate, in The Gathering Easy/Standard setting, the CULTIST token is -1, plus if you fail you take 1 horror. Clearly you would still take a horror if you fail, but would you count that as +1 with Sure Gamble? Do does it require the token to have a printed "-" on it?
Even if that works, does it work on variable negative modifiers like, in the same scenario, the SKULL token, worth -X, where X is the number of Ghouls at your location.
I *think* it works for both situations as the token has a negative modifier for that scenario. I think they would have said "printed value" or some such if it is otherwise, but I may be biased... Grateful for your thoughts!
