Can you perform an action if you go over a debris if you have Pattern Analyzer?

By Gingerob, in X-Wing Rules Questions

I have been running Snap Wexley with Pattern Analyzer and the other night I went over a debris. We couldn't quite work out if I was allowed to do his free boost and take an action. As the "Check Pilot Stress" step is moved to after the "perform actions" step is the timing of assigning a stress token from debris also moved to keep it after the "Check pilot stress" step

  1. Execute the maneuver as normal, but assign a stress token to that ship after the "Check Pilot Stress" step
  2. The player rolls one attack die. On a crit result, the ship suffers 1 critical damage.

Yes. The Check Pilot Stress step is moved but the stress from the debris is still applied after that, so you can get your action before the debris stress.

If you got PtL you can even pull 2 actions as normal and get only 1 stress, have fun :D

Only if you had a green manoeuvre planned, otherwise you'd have a stress for PtL followed by another one for the debris.
