Rocket Raccoon with force powers

By thecowley, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

So in a game I am starting shortly, one of my players is toying with the idea of playing as a force sensitive with a similar background as him. An animal that was taken from his world and experimented on and given sentience by an outside force. I have a background idea as far as who did it to him. How ever, I was wondering if any one new an already published species that is similar to rocket in shape and general biology. Little fury species that can scamper around every where.

Despite being uglier and more bat-like, Chadra-Fan from the Age of Rebellion book Stay on Target might fit the bill. They're uncommonly agile, intelligent, small enough to be silhouette 0, and they start with a free rank of Mechanics, which would be useful for assembling explosives, breaking out of jail, and doing other things Rocket does in the film.

The Drall from Suns of Fortune are a lesser candidate, but possible. They're as short as a Chadra-Fan, but their bulk keeps them at silhouette 1, and they're at 1s in both physical stats. Still more like wombats than raccoons, though. If it's not as important to be small, there are always the weasel-like Selonians from the same book - they're at least quite agile.

Hope I helped.

I agree with Nerf Herder.

If you want a balance of smart and agile, I would Chadra-Fan is great. If you want to explore the intelligent side, go Drall.

To be honest, silhouette doesn't come up much in personal scale combat in my games, so I don't find that part to be a problem. Mechanically, it seems to only make a difference when fighting against large creatures or being tossed around by Move.
