I love the look of the mat, but I was wondering how it works with four people. Does one persons play area just get shared with the Act and Agenda decks? 26" seems short for two people to share a side.
Anyone play with the Countless Horrors playmat?
I find it just big enough to play one character alone on a big map scenario like Curse of the Rougarou. 2 might work if I held my hand in my actual hand.
Honestly, this mat is designed more to be a central game area. Kaidran had it right, it's great for one player to have his stuff at the bottom and the big area for the top for the location and scenario cards. I really like this mat, don't get me wrong, but it's not something to play Scenario 2 on with 4 players and expect everyone to have all cards on this mat. 2 Players is probably the limit. I think there is a reason they released this and 4 different player mats, since for a 4 player game, you'd want the complete set.
I'd like to point out because I see this topic a lot, in some of the pictures I've seen marketing the playmat, the investigators used the four corners off the mat and the scenario was on it alone..
