Rogue One Shipping

By Animewarsdude, in X-Wing

So yea, hopefully we should get these before the film comes out then. It would be nice to see if the rest of the wave comes out this December, but judging by last year I guess we will get them around January or February next year.

If they're shipping now they should be in stores by the 8th at the latest.

Yesss... dat shipping feeling.

If they're shipping now they should be in stores by the 8th at the latest.

Wave 9 and HotR took two weeks if memory serves. That puts it on the 15th.

And the movie is out on the 16th so either way they are out prior to the movie's release. :D

I'll bet an expansion pack, that SWX58 is sneaking in with the U-wing and Striker.

Or it will come with the apparently later release of the rest of wave 10 (10.5?). Maybe some Scum Aces to go with the U/Striker?

Oh Baby!!!

:D

Conspriacy theory hat on: the missing SKU is Rebel Veterans, featuring Rogue One inspired paint jobs and upgrades.

Ohh, I wonder what kind of pints? Rebel ale, Imperial stout, Smugglers rum? And do the upgrades include chips, or cheese sticks?

Nachos, definitely nachos.

Also, a Whyren's Reserve logo on a glass and I'm in.

*hat tip*. Corrected. Made me smile!

Well, crap. Now I definitely have to rethink my list for Utah Regionals . . . something tells me Corran won't be so great with Kylo out there.

It is only the U-wing and TIE Striker shipping. Not the rest of Wave X. They also aren't legal on release anymore.

Theyre shipping the uwing and striker separate? goddamn it....

Thats actually really annoying since i have a discount card i was planning to use at my flgs

Legal on Release for anything less than a Regional.. Then its ~11 days from Release to legality for a Regional....

Below Regional it depends on the Tournament Organizer, better to ask beforehand.

Won't be legal for a Regional unless it is 11 days after release.

Same as last year for the T-70 and the TIE/FO

The 11 day from release rule is only valid for Nationals and Worlds. Regionals and below everything is supposed to be legal day of release.

Generally just released stuff for any game isnt tournament legal for a little bit. Even if the rules dont explicitly deny it the TO usually will deny it.

At least that is how it works for Star Wars lcg. They released a deluxe box set earlier this year around Origins and FFG OP said it was not legal for Origin events but the product would be legal for regionals that weekend (2 days later).

Even if the rules dont explicitly deny it the TO usually will deny it.

In the case of X-Wing everything is legal upon release unless stated otherwise. This is in the tournament document.

For Relaxed and Formal events, all product is legal in North America upon the product’s official release. For Premier events, all product is legal in North America 11 days—typically the second Monday—after the product’s official release.

So if someone shows up for a store championship or other local tournament with stuff that was released yesterday, they have every reason to assume they can use those ships.

Sounds like you just need more determination. ;)
