SALVAGE RUN QUESTION

By chriscook, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Place station in middle. What does that mean? Exact Center of board with center of station?

Yep.

As placer, you may choose the rotational orientation of the station... But for all intents and purposes ... That Station. Middle. of. Table.

If you want Directions to attempt ot be as specific as possible:

The Tables are 6 Range Rulers Wide, and 3 Range Rulers Deep, because they're basically 12" long.

So 3 Range Rulers finds the center of the Long Edge. 1.5 finds the Center of the Short Edge... Convergence of perpendiculars from there, is the center of the table.

Station goes there.

^This.

Fold your opponent's new PVC starfield play mat in half vertically and horizontally. Get some good creases in there.

When you regain consciousness place the station at the junction.

That's the best use of a PVC map, great idea!!! ;)

It all depends on what "center of the play area" means.

Is the "center of the play area" the room I am currently playing Star Wars Armada in?

If I am playing on a wooden table, do I need to hollow out a portion of the wood so that I can place the station in the "center of the play area?"

Honestly, who knows?

Gonna have to wait on another FAQ it seems.

"Play Area" is defined in the Rulebook.

RRG, PAGE 9

Play Area

The play area is the shared space occupied by ships, squadrons, obstacle tokens and objective tokens. The recommended play area is 3' x 3' for the core set and 3' x 6' for a 300 fleet point game.

(This is thusly further amended with the tournament rules for 400pts)

Well I wasn't expecting a serious answer, but I can't say I'm surprised you provided me with one of all people.

LOL

Fair enough.
