I was thinking about taking this to regionals, what does everyone think?

I would swap out VI for fearlessness. Being PS 9 in a ship that can take a hit or 2 or 3, not as powerfull as adding a hit result at range 1. Do away with Mangler and Gunner. Put Zuckuss in, you want the damage guarantee. Mangler only works out the primary arc, I find that I use Bossk the best when his Crit ability comes "Naturally" and not need to spend more points than necessary. This will also free up 7 points to add some buffs to Asajj......

I agree with fearlessness. With two large base ships you really need to put in the damage, cause when it comes down to Asajj and a small ship like Ryad, or Inquisitor and you go to half health, you are gonna lose unless you clean up the table. Get as much damage in as you can with Bossk. Expect him to die every game.

EDIT: The hotshot gunner combo is nice though, I played against a Moralo/IG-B list and it works good.

Yes, but you are short changing Asajj for that combo. I say keep the Hotshot, but ditch gunner. Put in Zuckuss. That will still have a decent chance to hit, force your opponent to spend their focus token anyway, AND allow for Asajj to do a decent hit herself on the same target.

Maybe, just ditch Mangler and add glitter + engine over gyro targeting on Asaaj? making her a little more useful?

The thing i like the Mangler for the most is low agi ships like shuttles, ghosts, decimators, and K-wings.

If you are going to put Zuckuss in, definitely ditch engine as you'll struggle to use it after using zuckuss.

I wouldn't drop gunner from the build personally, it combos well with hotshot to take advantage on the second shot. Yes zuckuss is good, but he probably combos better with 4-Lom (who is 3 poiints cheaper) so that you can push damage through any focus he has rather than forcing him to spend it (when he might have done anyway if he rolls any eyeballs).

If you're open to a slightly wider suggestion - I would consider swapping Asajj for Ketsu with the title and VI on Bossk for another cheap offensive EPT (crackshot or fearlessness, possibly calculation) - that way your shadow caster can try to dish out tractor beams before Bossk shoots (although if you start stripping agility off ships you might find that gunner, HSCP and/or Zuckuss are wasted a bit).

Also, Mangler Cannon does not work with HSCP, as it is primary only. Something that might come in more handy vs VCX, K-wings etc could be cluster missiles instead of Mangler Cannon. Get a range 1 cluster missile shot with bossk + fearlessness + dengar against low agility ships and you could be doing 6-8 damage on em in a single attack.

Or just toss Engines on Assajj. Now they can both catch Manaroo in the all important Dengaroo matchups.
