I'm not interested in rehashing the arguments for and against whether or not Madine and Nav Team can be stacked for the purposes of increasing yaw.
I am however, interested to know if FFG has issued any sort of clarification on the matter.
Could someone please enlighten me?

For posterity:
When a friendly ship resolves the NAV
command and spends a NAV dial, it can use
this effect to increase a yaw value by an
additional 1.
When a friendly ship equipped with Nav
Team resolves the NAV command and spends a
NAV token, Nav Team’s effect is not cumulative
with General Madine’s effect.
