I like the game, but the type on the cards it sooooo tiny. Has anyone at FFG thought about making a new deck with easier-to-read cards?

Why not in reprint?
Because people paid $400 or more to get those oversized cards in the CE set. I'm sure people would be pretty peeved at FFG if they just reprinted the cards into the CE size to buy alone.

Actually most of the CE owners would be pretty pleased if they could buy an extra set of CE cards...

I have the CE, but I would love to have the reprinted version of the cards even if they were standard size since I kept my original version. It took about 4 hours, but I typed out all the text from the CE cards and am going to print them out on cardstock and put in sleeves. I know the original card text have been uploaded on BGG, but I don't know if FFG or Nexus will allow for the uploading of the CE cards.
Oh i definetly agree and it's the reason i bought my CE copy. The painted mini's and the box are like a bonus IMO (FYI. They aren't all that impressive to be honest). I would have been willing to shell out some major bucks just to get the board, cards and the rulebook from the CE if it would have been offered.
I am actually in the process of doing something similar to what tsugo did. I photo copied all my cards and transfered the images to a light weight cardbaord. I'm in the process of cutting them out now and sleeving them up.
