Anyone playing SW: Galaxy of Heroes app?

I might suggest working on more Jedi instead of Dooku if you're wanting to use a lot of Jedi (your main team has 3).

Well it's less that I want to use Jedi and more that they're 3 of my best characters right now. I have Luke to 5 stars and Barriss is my lead. I'm really trying to be somewhat balanced and work on both Light and Dark side characters so I can do more of the challenges. That and I have a bit of a Pokemon mentality with games like this... I can't focus on just a main team, I gotta have everyone.

Nothing bad with that. I do think that that approach helps with Galactic War. The difficulty is determined by the power of your 5 strongest characters. If you have a bunch of guys nearly equal to your top 5, Galactic War is much easier.

Of course, I'm now at the point where I can choose to really develop other teams. Which is kind of important for the Mod Challenges. I am actually going to work on freakin Jawas. Really need those for the Tank Raid and Crit Damage mod challenge.

Too many fingers in too many pies lol.

Farm maul for darkside as he is incredible. Once you've got opponents health on red he just destroys them and gains turn meter. He's soloed and entire team before!!

Agreed. We're seeing a lot more Mauls now that he is available in the store (for $30 AUD :O). I've been using him for a while. He self heals on hits, destroys jedis and if he makes a kill, goes back for seconds, thirds, etc.

It took me a while to farm him to 7* but for those on the chase, just be patient. .. you'll get there.

and yes, he solos entire squads (at a lower level of course). He's an absolute beast.

He should be pretty good with Nihlus, as well.

How would only doing tier 1 rancor raids make the members "git gud"? I don't understand.

My best guess is that he couldn't handle the higher tier raids, and therefore had to insult anybody who questioned him.

Halfway to unlocking Nihilus. Hoping to get him during the final Lord of Hunger event. Then gonna start working on a DS Sith team. My main team is still Jedi but they are all maxed out other than gear.

Should be easy to unlock Nihlus. I am definitely going to eagerly await for the Assassin to become farmable. Some fascinating options with Sith.

Most you can get today for Nihilus is 35 shards. Need 50. I already got trooper and assassin.

Yeah, you just need to beat the first three phases of the two Nihlus events to get him. Usually, those aren't too bad. Kind of curious how hard the next one's phase IV will be.

Well I'll have him on Saturday I guess.

Managed to get just 30 shards for Nihilus so far. Not high enough level to take on the tier II of his second event. Looks like he will be performing Annihilate on my wallet...

You should just attempt it. Sometimes you can make it if you are underleveled.

Except tier 4.

I'm going to. If I can just get that next tier, I don't mind dropping a little cash to get those last few shards.

Hoping to be able to use one of @TitaniumChopstick 's high lvl guys. ?

Im not sure which of my guys you are able to borrow right now, since I was just throwing some random guys in for fun when I was playing (and failing) tier 4. Im thinking it is probably showing up with my Old Ben? Let me know who you want to borrow though and I'll try to get that hero available for you if you don't want Old Ben. :)

Wow nihlus is a bit OP. Insta-kill ability? And it can refresh fairly quickly too.

I'm guessing a lot of people will be using him in arena battles once he's leveled up.

But with no protection possible, he's gonna get focused down quick. There's plenty of tricks to get rid of/bypass taunt. I see him more as a glass cannon than anything.

Nihilus is still REALLY tanky without protection as long as he is the leader, since he just gains health equal to the amount of protection he wouldve had and he has crazy health steal that way too, letting him recover even more health than the damage he deals. He also gains max health with his insta-kill equal to the amount of max health the target had, so if you snipe a Royal Guard or Shoretrooper with 40k health, he gains that much max health. It starts to get kinda crazy at that point if you dont manage to keep him from constantly healing...

This video pretty much showcases what I'm trying to say. Just look at how much health Nihilus and Maul recover every time they do damage... And that is only a 3-Star Nihilus.

Also, if any of you are wondering how much impact his insta-kill will have in Arena, check out this video.

The battles tend to be too short for it to make a significant impact on the overall outcome.

Well, finally beat tier 1 of the Jedi Assault Battles. Maul is key. Though I made a small mistake of not killing Yoda right off. It ended up being full health Maul vs nearly dead Yoda. That took about 10 minutes due to Yoda's freaking foresight.

I need exactly 0 of the shards offered by the Jedi Assault Battles....so I'm skipping it, lol

Played against a 4* Nihilus in arena today, hovering right around rank 200 (+/- 20). Nihilus' leader ability turns Dooku into an absolute house. It's almost always worth saving the Count for last, just like every other retaliation based hero... except this time he **** near dismantled the rest of my team, healing close to full every time I attacked him. Just barely eked out a win with some lucky Leia procs, but still.

Alright guys, we should have enough raid tickets for the Tier 3 rancor raid tomorrow so does anybody have a time preference? I should have time to start it at any time during the day, but if for some reason I can't will you be available to start it @Sithborg ? I'm also in Eastern Standard Time, so keep that in mind when suggesting a time to start the raid. @Nhoj4 @LagJanson @VanorDM @kopmcginty @TheRabidAardvark

For the lower tiers, there is no reason not to start it as soon as we have enough tickets. I won't exactly be going full tilt at it.

I'm good today, Tuesday, and Friday this week after 5.
