first tier of Commander Luke, need old Ben and i only have 15 of his 80 needed shards :( no double luke for me :(

Think I'm sitting at 58 shards... just used up all my cantina energy trying to farm him some more and got zilch. Also of note, you need 330 shards to unlock Cmdr Luke. Yeah, I think I'm missing out as well.

330 shards suggests he is unlocked as a 7* character. Unfortunately I am in no position to unlock R2 and Ben so I am in no way ever expecting to unlock him. Once I get Wedge to 7* I need to work on Imps and getting my gear to a higher level.

I'm getting Rekt in the last tier of the Luke event. I'm so close... soooooo close! It came down to trooper and leia both in the red. If Leia attacked first I could have had it.. but she got shot and I lost. I'm so upping her Speed. I need to figure out how to get Luke/Leia/R2D2 above 200 speed and I think I can destroy this event. Oh, and get Han to G9.

Well, the rewards so far have helped me do 2 more Cantina refreshes than I normally do, which is really going to help my farming of Ben. Currently at 43/100, so I should finish him by the weekend.

So far, it has been a fun event. A bit different than the other Legendary events. More like this would be great.

i may spend money on Crystals for Cantina refreshes. i don't really want too though!!

sensible head on, even if i unlock old ben i'd still need to 7* him, Leia, ST Han and another 35 shards on Farmboy.

Right, talked myself out of it but will farm them given their reworks.

Ben does not need to be geared all that much. I had him 85/7* gear 9 before event start and I didn't even loose protection off of him once I figured out the pattern to tier 7. (which is when you really need him)

Fantastic event though, was really fun!

I beat tier 8.

G10 leia

G9 Han

G8 Luke/R2D2

I had Luke/R2D2/Leia all at speed 200, had to rip mods off all my regulars and used all my credits to do so. I hope there is a CH right away or I'll drop like a rock in Arena. Mods made a HUGE difference, and speed is key for that tier bar none. For those struggling:

Mod Han to be as tanky as possible for all tiers and get speed up on the others ASAP. Do not taunt with Han or use R2D2's smoke until the 3rd encounter of tier 8. Use Smoke/Taunt on Han to keep him alive as long as possible. After knocking out the taunting troopers, go for the recon (unless scout is almost done from R2D2's AOE), then Scout, then Commander. When I got it done I still had Leia and R2D2 at near full health (no protection). RNG in the first two encounters were good tho, didn't loose protection on anyone. If you get into the damage bars with Han before E3, your dead.

Not real happy with how Zetas have been dropping for me. But, got may second Zeta ability, Veers. Which is awesome on Tank Phase 3.

Unlocked Commander Luke.

Then ran into a Galactic War team (final node) that was Tier XI Commander Luke (with all but his last two abilities maxed), 7-star Tier XI Zeta'd General Kenobi, 7-star Tier XI Zeta'd R2-D2, 7-star Tier XI Zeta'd Rebel Asohka Tano, and 7-star Tier XI Zeta'd Thrawn.

The last tier of the Commander Luke event...unless you get really lucky with RNG, you're gonna need to have everyone at minimum Tier IX gear, and all their non-zeta abilities maxed. Don't focus on tenacity or potency. Put all your mods into speed and offence. Those stormtroopers don't do statuses that much, but have insanely high defense.

Stormtrooper Han is best in the lead. Make sure you're cloaking Leia as often as possible. Once the taunters are out of the way, nuke the scout trooper. Save the commander for last. Yes, he heals, but each time he heals, he isn't doing damage. Remember, R2 with proper speed can stun-lock people. Use his smoke screen to it's best effect as well. You only need one person to survive, so make sure Han is taunting to not only gain turn meter, but also to reduce theirs.

Made it to level 85 today!! As an added bonus got royal guard to 6 stars and got Vader to gear level 8.

All without spending a single cent on the game.

I now have Zader and Zassian in my teams!!

I'm hoping Zader will be good for leading an Empire team in heroic rancor, now to figure out how to mod them up for speed without unlocking the 5* speed mods

The only thing I've spent is keeping myself topped up with the '100 shards per day' subscription. I don't really need it, but I do feel that if I'm playing the game and enjoying it then the dev's deserve at least some of my money.

I might buy a character one day to repay then for a free game, but I have most of the ones I want.

Quick Question on Speed.

When viewing the Characters stats, is the total speed both the numbers (i.e the ones in brackets added to the number on the left?)

so i have Vader showing speed 139 (18) is that speed 111 + 18 (i.e 139) or 139 + 18 - (i.e 157)

Either way i need to pump him full of speed!! lol

What's a good Dark Side team? I'm nearly done working on Phoenix and want to start working on the DS.

I have Boba at 7* Vader and Maul nearly to 7* Dooku just hit 6. I got Palp, Royal Guard and Bane at 5, and everyone else lower than that.

VICTORY!!!!!

I just unlocked Luke. And it was a real nail biter at the end. Han got some real key dodges at the end. Definitely need to get him to at least G9 to have a chance. And the final showdown with Leia and the healer was a nail biter. Down to sliver of health before I finished him off. The RNG was with me. And jeez, lvl 1 Luke, with no gear, is stronger than 8 of my other Rebel toons, leveled and slightly geared. And now, the guild will be able to at least get one of the rewards of the Luke mission in Territory Battles.

I personally am loving Imperial Troopers. zVeers, especially outside of arena. They just blow through GW now. Snowtrooper is great for battles with a lot of grunts. Sith is also a good option. Maul lead is annoying, but so is Dooku.

Very different than my experience.

G9 Han Leader - leader skill @ 4, all other skills maxed - all protection/health mods

G10 Leia - all skills but leader maxed - speed 230

R2D2 - Gear 8 - all skills about 4, with number crunch and basic at 6 - speed 199

Luke G8 - all skills 5 - speed 230

I didn't use any specials the first 2 encounters. encounter 3 I flamed with R2, basic attack with leia, special attack with luke, and taunt with han. then popped smoke and gave Han the evade. I just kept using flame/Luke special until everyone died. I was left with Leia R2D2 when it was finally all over, and both at near full health. I never cloaked Leia as she was getting the cloak from R2 and Han died same time as Luke. I decided keep throwing damage and I'll win it. The speed was key, after I moved mods around Leia was attacking 2-3 times with the double/triple tap to 1 storm trooper turn which made her the main damage dealer.

I need purples bad! I'm wanting to run a Zeta raid Han, Zeta Luke Lead, Leia, R2 Zeta and Cassian build in arena. I think it will crush!

Oh, First Order may be a Dark Side team you want to look into. First of all, Offensive mod challenge. Second of all, I suspect that we all may want a First Order and Resistance team, with the movie coming and all...
