Yeah, the factors on how good a toon goes like this: gear level, star level, and level.

And Shoretrooper has one hard node...

I want to do nihlus to 7* but with 1 hard mode star is low on my list!! Lol. I need lots of droids caller shards to level up my gears.

I hate shore trooper almost as much as baze and sith trooper

As someone who is continuing to work on his First Order guys, I sympathize.

I will say, I did enjoy Wicket in the event. May do some work on Ewoks.

That ewok battle against scout troopers and at-st's was really fun!

Partly because of being a different type of combat scenario, and partly because they give you the tools to win (pre-designed squad), just up to you to implement it well.

Getting a 4* mod as a reward was icing on the cake!

Yeah, the Ewoks are fun. May have to farm them. Definitely useful in AAT phase 3 and 4.

Anybody know what this month's daily character shard reward is? I still get blank boxes...

Farmboy Luke. Kind of annoyed that I 7 starred him last month.

Hm. I kinda ignored him, so I guess I scored... not that I use him outside that one time for the Jawa... who I also don't use.

Artoo event is back on Thur. Increases the chance that I am right that Thrawn will return for the Season 4 premiere.

How do you collect this? I got a pop-up to go to the cantina but there was nothing there.

In other news, I'm 2 Boba shards off unlocking both him and Vader (he'll be my 20th Dark Side character, getting me Vader's 80th shards).

It's just the daily reward. When you log in, you get something. Multiple days during the month will be shards for a specific character... Just the past two months I get a blank box with no graphic...

I think I've been ripped off, Luke has the same 3 shards he's always had.

I think the first one is 3rd day... Each day you get a different reward for logging in. Just some days a month you get character shards.... That said, I'm concerned I'm not getting the shards as well, I didn't get Mr Ewok from last month, but I did fail to log in two or three days... Could be self-inflicted failure, so I'm not ready to cry 'broken app' yet.

Details for the Commander Luke event are starting to come out. 7 starred Luke was kind of expected. But Old Ben, Stormtrooper Han, Leia, and R2-D2 is kind of surprising. Especially Artoo. That is going to be real hard to get Luke. It will be interesting to see how Commander Luke is, with such steep requirements.

i don't have Old Ben or ST Han i have a 3* Leia though!! They arent high on my list (currently Gearing arena and 7*ing empire)

My boys might be in with a shot though as they have all of them!!

Is Commander Luke ROTJ black Luke, or Rebel pilot Luke?

Gack. Missed Han as a required. So, I might be able to 7 star Luke and Leia in time, particularly if I actually get the daily logon shards. I doubt I can even get Han, Ben or R2 in time though so I think it's unlikely I'll be able to get much in this event.

I'm short R2, but have all the others, not at 7 stars, but in theory I could get them there. But I don't know I could do it in time.

I am thrilled that those characters are getting a rework, though. I wonder if they are going to make Old Ben a Rebel?

The Tier VII R2 event is killing me. Getting waxed every time.

R2 7* was hard, I was almost late for work this morning because I ran it like 10 times. I refused to gear my toons any further too because each time I was so close.

Emperor Palp lead (gear 9, 7*, lvl85)

Vader (gear 10, 7* lvl 85)

Royal Guard (gear 8, 7* lvl 82)

Tarkin (gear 9, 7* lvl 83)

Tie Fighter Pilot gear 9, 7* lvl85)

I found all my speed bonus maxed out mods and put them on palp, TFP, and RG. I stunned Chewie right away to prevent him from taunting. Then chain lightninged everyone and put the debuff with TFP down. Then I focused down R2D2 until he died, stunning chewie whenever I could to prevent the taunt. The AoE blasts take out Han and Leia pretty quick. Luke fried RG and then chewie and Ben kicked the crap out of TFP and Tarkin. I ended with half life on Vader remaining when I finally took Ben down and finished it off.

Keep trying, sometimes RNG is all you need. I let it auto for a few times, and next thing I know, I was nearing victory, so I took it back over.

And my squad was the same, though I think my TFP and Tarkin were lower gear, though Palp was G10.

I'm curious what the "Gear" level requirements are going to be for the CL event. I got Leia/ST Han/Ben geared to 9, R2/Luke are both 7 tho...

8 is usually a good target.
