They said they are not done with the Ewok takeover just yet. I am guessing Wicket, who was teased over a year ago, is going to make it into the game. Maybe an Assault Battle the requires Ewoks?
Anyone playing SW: Galaxy of Heroes app?
Wicket and Logray are both good guesses.
Maybe Cindel? Since Caravan of Courage
is
the best Star Wars movie, hands down, no questions asked.
How about both...
Wicket, Logray, AND Paploo this month. Marquee events, so we will also be able to unlock them.
And in big news, Commander Luke Skywalker is coming. I'm thinking I need to 7 star Farmboy Luke.
And Hoth versions of Leia and Han are coming in Territory Battles.
Ewok team op, plz nerf
Will General Luke synergize with biggs and wedge? Dear lord I hope so!!!!!
Also wave 12 ewok glider confirmed!!!!!
I've just started. It's clearly a massive grind but one I'm kind of enjoying because it's Star Wars.
It is a grind, but a fun one. My biggest problem is there are so many different teams I want to farm. And that was before they released the Ewok rework. I'm torn between farming Ewoks on the hope they will be really good, or farming the clones for the AAT raid.

Clones without a doubt, they are useable in more parts of the game, they are the first team I put together all gear 11 now, Mods with Speed are key as with most characters. Even w/ the rework Teebo is the only useful ewok for Raid and sometimes I see Ewok elder in the arena but thats about it.
Edited by Phoenix5454I had a productive day today. Got up to level 83, unlocked captain phasma and got her up to gear 4 and level 51 already, and got darth vader up to 6 stars!
I now have a level 85 gear 10 Zassian to go with Wiggs, K2 and Akbar for arena team!!
Now, who shall i work on after phoenix squad! i'm tempted with Clones or Jawa's for the raids but I'm unsure.
I haven't any team picked yet. I am just trying to get Biggs and Wedge to 7*. I am also aiming to get Boba to 7* as he has solo'd entire teams on a numb3r or occasions for me now.
Christ, I'm still trying to get enough 1* guys to make a team with.

I remember those days!! lol. Keep farming Dooku as he is a beast for both Dark side battles and Arena team. If you can get some form of health steal on him he is a beast with his retaliation and double attacks!
Dooku needs to die in a fire as far as I am concerned.

My problem is I am a sucker for double drops even for useless toons. I'm a charter member of value town, especially being F2P.

Understood but unless Wicket, Logray or Palploo (w/e his name is) have useful kits when they are released ewoks overall are still a bad investment. I use my clone team every where, galactic war, squad arena (mods w/ speed a must), rancor raid, Tank Raid. Plus three of the clones are pilots for ships and Fives and Rex specifically are must haves for arena and Fives is a must for ships . Also Rex is a must for a zader solo Rancor team along with Jyn. Can't say that outside of Teebo for rancor and possibly elder for arena that ewoks are worth the time.

I keep hoping (probably against reality) that ewoks will be the new meta. I long to see my Teebo soloing a Nihlus led sith team singlehandledy making Dooku and Nihlus irrelevant to the meta.

While I would love a shake up in the meta I don't think ewoks are going to be the ones to do it...
Wiggs+Chaze is the counter to Sith Lords. Flavor with Boba, Sabine, Lando, Fives, or a Taunter to help mitigate damage to Baze.
I'm currently running Wedge Biggs Baze Chirrut (6 shards away from 7 star...gah) and Sabine.
Sabine is a beastly monster. Blasters Akimbo with her kitted out for crits is insanely good, and Darksaber just melts the defense of others.
That said, an Empire team led by a Zeta Vader is deadly too if you don't have someone to get rid of debuffs. I've seen a Zeta Vader team stack so many debuffs on a character that Culling Blade did 250k damage. Yes...250,000 damage.
Yeah, Zeta Vader is fun in raids...
I'm leaning toward switching to a Vader lead once the Thrawn event comes around again.

Done, you'll have one from Ceilican.
I'm getting a bit of traction, plenty of guys now and closing in on level 40. I think I'm starting to hit the point where you get pulled in loads of directions (grinding for components to gear upgrades burns energy, training the new guys up burns XP) and your progress either slows down or you start spending actual money to keep the pace up. I'm bouncing around from arena-campaign-cantina to keep going, always seem to have something I can do, but the character progress is stalling and I'll start hitting the point where I can't win without levelling my dudes up.
For what it's worth I've spent like $10 on this game and I do quite well, so you don't need to spend money. I think the trick is to set short term goals and focus on those. Like pick a team of 5 and focus on shards and getting them leveled up. Then when you do that move on to the next team.
That said having a deep bench is an advantage on the Galactic War table, because when your first team gets beat you can continue on with a second one. It also helps to have both a good LS and DS team so you can do both types of missions.
Generally, it's good to work on a team of Scoundrels first, for the Credit and Training Droid events. After that it is really up to you. Some good guidelines though:
Need Rebels to unlock Palpatine
Need Jedi to unlock Yoda
Need Empire to unlock Artoo
Need Phoenix to unlock Thrawn.
And once you are in the guild, you can send out some ally requests to the rest of us. Having higher level allies makes things a tad... easier.
And can I just say, holy ****, Logray.
