Anyone playing SW: Galaxy of Heroes app?

It doesn't help that Vader's TIE is in the same grouping as Scimitar and Slave 1, both already kind of rare appearances. Just RNG. Sort of like how they just HAD to put Jyn in the exclusive slot in Guild. And of course it was a couple days before Dengar showed up while I was waiting to 7 star him.

Yeah. I'm great for LS ships. Not so much ds.

Does this game use much in the way of data? I play Pokemon Go a bit and am wondering how SWGOH compares in terms of data.

Pretty certain it doesn't use as much data as Pokemon Go, but I'm not quite sure where it is at compared to other apps. I apparently used 62 MBs over the past week, but I am constantly hopping on and keep it running.

Sounds data friendly enough then as Go doesn't use much.

Currently grinding out a Geonosian Soldier as it's only 10 cards to unlock it, and then I will work on upgrading the Royal Guard as he is only 15 cards, and currently my only tank.

I should be able to unlock Greedo by the weekend using points, to get another scoundrel. Once I have Asohka I will work on Fett using pts as well.

A bit of advice, if you are looking ahead for Palpatine, Stormtrooper Han and Lando are Scoundrels and Rebels. But Fett is a very good choice after you unlock Ahsoka.

And now, to through all plans into chaos, Imperials are required for R2-D2, who seems to be another Palp/Yoda event.

The Imperial rework in general has me changing plans.

I'm going to continue working on Rebels for the Palp event. Not going to be able to build up an Empire team in time, so I'll just start building that up for whenever it comes back around. Not that upset since I'm more of an Empire/Sith fanboy, so I'm cool with missing the first round of R2.

Luckily i have Vader, Palp and Tarkin with Gar Saxon and royal guard at a reasonable level so R2 should be fun! i think i'll hit it with Saxon as lead just for the Counter ability

I don't really have time to be ready for either event so for now I am just building up my forces so that I can assist in raids, and have a soundrel team as already suggested.

Artoo is a real interesting character. 2 Zetas, which is uggh, but they both provide some great benefits. I can easily see him making it onto Jedi/Clone teams.

How do you get Zeta's, and generally how long does it take to get one?

You can buy them with fleet arena points (i think) at 2,000 also you can get them with the high level ship ability material challenge (using executrix)

i need to work on my imperial fleet so i can get that sweet, sweet zeta!!! lol

Yeah, I've been putting some emphasis on Dark Side ships for that challenge.

Trooper revisions are up on the forums. Looks like some extra damage for Magma and Snow. Definitely looks like they will be fun.

That's cool. I have a number of troopers unlocked but didn't do anything with them because they weren't very good. Would love to do a "Vader's Fist" team.

They won't necessarily be strong for Arena. But definitely in AAT. Though, it is interesting in that you don't necessarily need Veers in the lead. I think a Krennic lead with Troopers would be fun.

Veers is the login reward character of the month. I've been trying to collect shards for him for a bit, but missing out on the random chances and struggling to get anything. Just goes to show you, stop trying - the stuff you want will just be given to you. Wait a minute...

I wonder how difficult the Artoo event will be. I suspect that even if I can 7 star Tarkin in time, I won't have the gear levels for three of my Imperials. Let's see if gear X Palp and Vader can carry me.

That's one thing I find I don't care much for. You get a super rare event, but the only people who can actually make full use of it are those who are already pretty much maxed out.

But as long as I can manage 3 or 4 stars I guess I'll be happy.

He will be like Palp and Yoda, so unlocks at 5 star. From what I've seen, he is going to be very useful. Although it requires 2 zetas. I do like having a couple of events like these, as it gives an different squad building goal. I just worry a bit, that as Yoda and Palp were designed and released before the current level and gear cap, that they are going to ramp up the last tier of Artoo to give older players a challenge. Like the freaking Jedi Assault Battle.

R2D2 is going to be great for arena and GW. but I'm assuming a hot mess in the raids.

I've been very impressed with my new rebel team tho: Wedge, Biggs, Han, K2S0, Cassian. Doesn't hit as hard as my old team (Wedge, Biggs, St.Han, Rey, Leia). but has been a lot more fun to play and holds position better in the arena. Cassian, when ranked and geared is a beast for dps and debuf!

I'm enjoying the Imperial Trooper rework. It's going to be real nice in AAT phase 3. The neat thing is, don't need to really to use Veers as leader.

Cassian solidly took my number five slot with Wedge, Biggs, Ackbar, and Pathfinder... Chirrut is slowly powering up though and may phase out Ackbar...

I'm running Wedge, Biggs, Akbar, K2S0 and Scarrif pathfinder but looking to swap someone out for Cassian once i 6* him. seems to hold up well on the Arena though and hits like a truck in the Raids. might swap another of them for R2 once i get him decent.
