No chance of doing the Luke event. Ben Kenobi needs 80 shards. No way you can get that in i days without complete fluke. I also don't have enough high star empire xhars to get R2.

I got R2-D2 unlocked today! He's already 5 stars which is pretty awesome.

Unfortunately he will have to wait for a bit to get upgraded, I still haven't finished upgrading Wicket yet.

If you have enough crystals, I can see it. I have only done one refresh, and have gotten 17 shards (admittidly, maybe a bit lucky).

I'm still farming my snow trooper, 30 to go to 7* then i can get r2 7*'d. next on my list is QGJ 7* and Old Ben

Might be able to get R2 unlocked... I need to get one of my 4* Imperials up to 5* still to try for that final 45 shards to unlock. Scored 20 Snowtrooper shards from the bronzium/freebie/whatever packs, so that'd be my preference...

Unfortunately... I'm still short ST Han and Old Ben. Rather frustrated since I could have farmed both these characters earlier but already had plenty enough light side. I'm rather short on crystals as I spent them to get Mk V Droid callers and several refreshes previously.

Does Wedge only appear once a day in the store?

I think he is a bit on the rarer side in the ship store.

I'm been buying him every day since I reached lvl 60 and I am still 130 shards off 7*. Longest farm yet that I have done.

He's farmable at 6-f in cantina battles as well, was nice and easy when I 3*d it

So do all of your guys need to be seven star for the Luke event, or just Luke?

EDIT: NM. Just reread the announcement. Don't think I'll waste time on Old Ben or Leia right now. I doubt old Ben is going to replace Baze. Question is whether he will be better than ST Han.

I'm hoping it's like other events where you can unlock with five stars but need sevens to fully build the character.

I'm not even trying for this event. I want wedge up to 7, and I have Xhaze unlocked now so am working on both of them.

I also need a better unit for empire, as I really like Saxon, but I only have him at 2*. Going to try for a 5* TIE pilot, then I might worry about Old Ben for the next time Skywalker comes around.

I was looking at getting them to get Luke but to get all 7* is too much, I've given up lol.

I'm 7*ing snow trooper to then 7* R2 lol.

Hows the guild looking now? my current one is doing T6 Rancor and AAT every 4-5 days as not getting enough raid tickets (we have 30 active players with 1/2 that being semi active )

The guild is doing okay. A lot of lower level members, but the latest two are quite active, so we are beginning to get a good stream of raid tickets. Going to be sticking to T5 Rancor for now, due to the lower members, so that is a good compromise.

I admit I haven't been as active as of late. It will probably be like this until after GenCon.

It isn't a really big deal until we start looking at Heroic raids.

Which I am kind of excited for with the Han rework.

I'm up to eight 6*+ characters now (3 are 7*, and another is not far off 7).

Hoping to get a few more than I can have two AT teams. Chaze are at 3 and 4*, but ai am gearing them up as much as possible so should be good enough for GW at least.

Wiggs is Awesome!!!

I try and run GW with Phoenix squad (my boys run it better than i!) and have to switch out for heavy Sith teams and i normally send a weaker team out to get the hard teams to use their specials against them and give my arena squad a better shot (take as much protection off them as you can!)

My arena team is all 7* and almost maxed abilities (except Z2-s0) i use Wedge lead, Biggs, Ackbar, Zassian and K2. lots of assists and debuff removal with a counter attacking tank. managed to get me into top 200 arena

I am liking the sound of Territory battles. Everyone benefits. I can see some guilds having friction over this, but I don't really mind with our casual guild. Having Han as a healer is an odd choice, but I can't wait to see him and how to unlock him, as you need him to unlock Leia. Gear 12 would be more exciting if I had more Gear 11 characters.

I hope we get more options for Territory battles.

Does it say anywhere how to unlock Captain Solo?

I assume he is going to be in Hoth gear (as that's when he played healer).

Not yet. Though I think we will be getting to see what he does Thur, along with Leia.

Got my first character (Jedi Consular) upgraded to 8 stars today!! Which is pretty amazing considering I'm level 84 that it hasn't happened sooner. I guess it's mainly my fault though as I wasn't actively trying to get anyone to 8 stars, it just happened on its own.
