Creature feature list and question

By buckero0, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

I was thinking of new lists with the jabba wave figures and wanted to run multiple dewbacks. I thought what if I had a pet rancor in there as well. So here is the list - what do you think, and how can it get better? What will challenge it?

Temp alliance 1

Rancor 10

Capt Terro 7 feeding frenzy 1

Dewback 5

Dewback 5

Officer 2

Officer 2

Rule by Fear 1

Zillo 1

elite Officer 5

EOfficer is to help the big guys move around the board and get extra attacks.

Should I have more feeding frenzy? I'm wondering how useful the card will be.

Lots of creature command cards, trooper cards like grenadier and squad swarm, etc

Too much support and not enough guns?

Here's my other quirky question---let's say I was going to use Gen. Sorin, and he ordered the rancor to bombardment, would the rancor then get blast on his attacks? Or is that a shooting attack only? Blast + Cleave would be awesome, even though Sorin would be a joke in this list.

I wonder if you might have trouble with all those big bases getting in each others way. Maybe you could drop 1 dewback and an elite officer for a set of troopers? They would give you some bodies and a bit more flexability?

As for Sorin, technically yeah I guess Rankor gets blast! wierd!

yeah, the movement is going to be the key on the dewbacks. Even with the extra Mounted move at the beginning of activation, I don't know how they will fare getting around the board. At least they have a shooting attack, so they don't have to be adjacent like most creatures. The shock lance would be useful, but I think most of the time, you're going to shoot. I don't know that you can do enough damage as the trooper list can do or kill enough troopers if you're facing a list like that.

Bombardment does not restrict the attack to a ranged attack, so the attack will get Blast 1. It isn't optional, so you may end up Blasting friendly figures as well depending on the target space of the attack.
