Regional Championships are the next level in competition, prizes, and prestige. These exclusive events offer players a chance to test their skills against the best players in their region and compete for awesome prizes, including a precious first-round bye at a National Championship. The May Track Championship Series leads to the World Championships in Roseville, MN, held in early May.
The format for this tournament is Skirmish. Skirmish requires an squad with no more than 40 depolyment points as well as a command deck of 15 cards that doesn't exceed 15 command points. Each player is responsible for providing the necessary components to play including their squad, command deck, tokens, FFG playmats, or game map tiles. Players will be required to submit squad sheets and can be subject to random deck checks of their command deck during the swiss rounds. It is encouraged that players fill out their squad list and check their command deck before coming to the event but there will be squad sheets on hand for players to fill out the day of the event.
This tournament will be a number of swiss rounds with a cut to the top players based on the FFG's Advanced tournament structure and attendance. During each Swiss rounds after the first round players are paired against another player with as close to a similar record as possible. Each Swiss round and Single Elimination round will be 65 minutes with exception of the final round which will be 105 min. You can see an example below of that structure.

13-24 Players- 4 Swiss Rounds + Cut to top 8
25- 40 Players- 5 Swiss Rounds + Cut to top 8
41- 76 Players- 6 Swiss Rounds + Cut to top 8
77- 148 Players- 6 Swiss Rounds + Cut to top 16
The legal maps and missions for this tournament are Nelvaanian War Zone, ISB Headquarters, and Coruscant Landfill.
Prizes for this event are going to be provided by FFG and Pastimes. The additional prizes provided by Pastimes will be based on participation in the event. The FFG provided prizes are listed below.
Top 64 - The top sixty-four players will each receive a copy of the alternate art card for one of the biggest scoundrels in the galaxy - “Lando Calrissian”.
Top 32 - The top thirty-two players will each receive a set of 5 Scum wound tracker cards.
Top 8 - The top eight players will each receive a set of attack and defense dice to show off their prestige to their opponents.
Top 4 - The top four players will each receive printed acrylic point dial featuring the Trandoshan bounty hunter, Bossk.
First Place - The winner will receive a colored trophy depicting the Medal of Yavin and a first round bye to a 2017 Star Wars: Imperial Assault National Championship.

When- Registration will be open from 10- 10:45 am. You will need to fill out a registration slip and have your Squad list filled out for registration. Also if you have a bye to report you will do so when you register. The pairings for the first round will be posted promptely at 11:00 a.m. any players arriving after that point will recieve a loss in the first round if they would like to join the event.
Entry- $20 (100% of the entry free goes towards prize support for this event.)
