I picked up my copy of RT the other last year and have gotten a group togather to start playign soon.

The only thing I am not clear about is char creation. The book says we give 500 xp to upgrade that part I get. But when you get to the career path section the books says the chars get skills and talents.

Do chars get the skills that the book lists as startign skills +500 xp worth of advansments?

Also gearing out new char's end of section 1 says get 1 accuistion with a mod +0 but career section again list starting equitment. I take it the char gets both.

Lastly state bounouse do they go up as states go up or are they set from when the char is created.

Both in both cases,

Each character receives their skills and talents according to their class and track, this worht the "initial" 4.500 xp, after this they still receive 500xp for customisation for a total of 5.000xp (Which is the start of rank 1).

The equipment is the same, you get you usual equipment and the free requisition.
