Hi guys. I've been trying to come up with a way to make low ps tie phantoms more durable and was wondering would this combination work. Advanced sensor and stygium particle accelerator. The idea is you cloak as soon as possible and keep decloaking each turn then cloaking again before you reveal your dial until your in position to attack. So decloaking gives you a free evade. Advance sensor to cloak giving you another free evade then move. This would give you two evade tokens and four green dice per round until your ready to attack. Does my math add up? Cheers in advance
Quick question about TIE phantoms
Looks right to me. You would only get to use one evade token per time you are attacked but yea it looks legit. Also I have to ask why you are bothering with the Advanced sensors unless you are planning to be making a lot of K-Turns and the Phantom doesn't really need to K-Turn most of the time.
Nope. You're performing a free Evade action , and you can only perform a particular action once per round, no matter the source of the action.

Oh yea, oops. What he said.
If you can afford the points, Sensor Jammer helps keep a Phantom alive. Changing hit results can be just as good as adding evades.
Sensor jammer sounds good. I'm thinking a three 25pt phantoms with stygium and sensor jammer. Would give me 7pts for crew. This would maybe not be competitive but fun to play
There's a solid chance you get PS-killed. If you can stay out of arc or otherwise survive long enough to shoot, then 12 attack dice is better than a lot of the 2 and 3 ship lists that are currently in style. I recommend you use different crew on each Phantom. Compared to using identical crew; different crew creates target priorities for your opponent. You can use that to your advantage. I recommend Rebel Captive, Agent Kallus and Intelligence Agent.
Sooo....why not additional 2 green dice with ACD?

Because then you get PS killed even more easily because you're a Z95 with a single action until after you've fired at PS3 or PS5. And you give your opponent 2 more points for the privilege.
