Fun with Interdictors

By Coldhands, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

As the title says, its a fun list, I dont really like Interdictors. It uses the new admiral, wich combined with engine techs make this vessel quite agile: with a movement command, it has speed 2+1, all double clicks. So, well, interesting at least. The battleplan is to have that 2 ships slow down 1-2 ships for Rhymer, while dodging dangerous arcs of opponent ships. Firepower is low, but can take beating for a long time if you just spam repair. So, here is the list:

Personally, I find interdictors bad too.

Sad news for you.

Jerrod affects the first yaw at your current speed. So if you are at speed 2, jerrod has no effect on a speed 1 engine tech maneuver.

The actual card says:

So, it seems you're right, if the first yaw value means where the arrow part is. I thought, it meant the first click on the current speed. If there is already a clarification about first jaw meaning, please let me know, I have no clue. But clearly, in your version, this admiral is miserable. Or worse.

Its more the wording of engine tech. Unless your current speed is speed 1, you wont get the double notch on engine techs.

He gives it Till the End of activation, in my opinion is something like this: Treat the ship as it had II printed jaw value at its First jaw until the End of its activatin.

Nope, only the first yaw of the current speed. So if current speed is speed 1, then engine techs benefits. If current speed is not speed, then engine techs does not benefit.

also once you start spamming engineering you won't be spamming nav anymore to make them run...

Yes I saw your write up, great couple of ideas I'm going to steal from you, well done.

I have yet to get my second interdictor, but I want it. It's currently one of my favorite imp ships and I can see some combos being very enjoyable. Maybe try three.

Can I get a link to this write up? I got a second interdictor and would love to see some thoughts on how to run it
