Curse of the Rougarou rules questions [spoilers]

By Hawkstrike, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

Some questions about the new expansion:

(1) When the rules say to place Lady Espirit into play at a bayou location, does she go into play as an investigator's ally (like you paid for her out of your hand), or does she go to that location (like Lita Chandler)? If the latter, do you somehow get her into your hand as an aly to use her action, or does her action get activated at the location?

(2) When the Rougarou is directed to move (by damage or another card), when does it do it, and how many location steps each time? I assumed it's during the enemy phase and one location step per enemy phase, but the Rougarou keeps getting redirected by treacheries before it reaches the first directed location. Is that right?

Tactics:

Seems like a tough scenario (also because I first tried it with Daisy solo). The best tactic appears to be to be able to do all five damage to kill it by engaging and whaling on it in one turn, because once it gets away it's hard to get additional clues to reengage and chase it down while the Curse of the Rougarou weakness is stacking horror on you.

1. I believe she just comes into play at a location. Anyone can then go to that location to use her ability.

2. I am less sure about this one, so if I'm wrong, someone please correct me. I think he moves immediately after taking enough damage, so unless you can kill him in one action, he can get away. For moving, the entire effect of the card has to be carried out before another one can take effect. So if you draw a treachery that will move him 3 spaces, he moves 3 spaces immediately.

The one location at a time bit is so that he will leave clues behind as he moves. Originally we were moving him once per turn and forgetting about the clue thing, but decided that didn't make sense. We screwed up a lot of things on our first playthrough, decided we couldn't kill him (because we screwed up with the clue thing) and tried the alternate option. We died.

Yeah, I missed the clue thing too. That really makes a difference! Instead of running across the map to find a location that still has a clue, you can follow the breadcrumb trail. Makes so much more sense!

Lesson: read the card, dummy!

I read that card wrong 3 different ways at 3 different times. It was a little embarrassing...

That kicked my butt, too. What really killed me, or would have if the rest of the scenario hadn't, I had 2 copies of Insatiable Bloodlust on him. I assume he can have 2+ on him at a time because on other such cards they say "(Limit one per location)" etc.
