I wanted to paint an ARC, and luckily I got one from a friend to paint as I don't collect the Rebel ships. I wanted to try a sort of "realistic" paint scheme, the camo pattern suits a recon ship fairly well. The ship design is probably the most WW2ish, so North African Italian inspired camo pattern is fitting.
These things probably fly in-atmosphere missions also, so sky blue underbelly (and the said camo) is understandable.
I like the ship's desing, maybe I should start playing rebels just for these ships.
For the painting enthusiastics, there are two things to note. I tried the salt chipping method for the first time on this, it's quite easy - if somewhat time-consuming - and produces good chipping effect even for the models of such a small scale. And I'm getting used to the panel liner process.
Edit: "Crappy" in the topic meant the quality, not the difficulties showing them.
