Let me just throw in the room that I had my groups players who played squire of PC knights, assistants of mad scientists, runaway slaves, high nobility mixed with street rats, player of demons and players who intentionally played a treacherous servant who's main goal was to ged rid of one of the demon characters to ascend to the vacant position, etcAll in good fun.We never played actively ares magical unfortunately, here the whole system was based around having a whole collection of characters of different powers.Balance, equality of power, influence or authority of characters is … a fixation that I never understood, especially as so often balance would stand in the way of a good story. Starting a campaign with a weak character and some mentors and eventuell growing this character to bequem equal or even surpass his old mentor's is a classic story and has it's own merits.Furthermore, just because a mentor tries to guide a character, discipline him, mentor him does not mean in the slightest that this pupil loses his independent personality. Just look at Obi-Wan and Anakin and how Anakin left the path that Obi-Wan planned for him in the most drastic way possible.
Workshop questions
I
certainly am...
I even have some ideas for characters. For a master I can refurbish Caasa a bit so she's less of a "break this one particular thing" character. For a Padawan... well, the idea's still shaping itself, so I can't put it in words, but an idea is definitely forming.

Personally, I think the only real issue I see with her is her lack of any skill ranks in Lightsaber. She's relying solely on natural ability. At that XP level, you'd figure she'd at least have a 2-3 actual ranks in the skill. Also, she's lacking in gear, assets/resources, background, and motivations. I'm also curious what artifacts, and such she will bring to the Party. Korath brings the ship and a Jedi Holocron (his first Master's that Korath recovered from a wannabe "Sith").

Cool, who's your signature character?
OK, here's a quick question for interested players/GMs. How do we handle the Named NPCs, such as the main Nemeses? I can't play my character's nemesis, for instance. So is there a way to create a pool of NPCs accessible to all on SWSheets, or do we each take charge of running the Nemesis of another player's signature character? If the latter (which I think is probably more viable) who wants to handle which Nemesis?
Well, we could always make an SWSheets account we all had access to, but "each player runs a Nemesis" could work too.
Is the first option even an option?
Exactly. So, SEApocolypse, world you be interested in this proposed campaign?Let me just throw in the room that I had my groups players who played squire of PC knights, assistants of mad scientists, runaway slaves, high nobility mixed with street rats, player of demons and players who intentionally played a treacherous servant who's main goal was to ged rid of one of the demon characters to ascend to the vacant position, etcAll in good fun.We never played actively ares magical unfortunately, here the whole system was based around having a whole collection of characters of different powers.Balance, equality of power, influence or authority of characters is … a fixation that I never understood, especially as so often balance would stand in the way of a good story. Nope.

If we all knew the username and password, yeah.
I think I've given sufficient warning, so since you're making an informed decision I have no problems with it. And who knows maybe tramp has matured more than evidence would suggest. Good luck to you all. I hope that I was wrong and it works out well.

TBH, I'm going with my three stikes method. After that, I'm hitting the Bail button.
I'm paranoid. Very paranoid.

Cool, who's your signature character?
TS-7777 an Imperial Deserter who was a rogue phase 1.5 Darktrooper. I'm changing his background slightly after watching Rogue One. Now, he was a KX-series droid who was reprogrammed by a group of Rebels after stealing a shipment of them. All this happened shortlt before the battle of yavin.
I have played this character for ~2 Years. Originally in the EU then we retconned the change over to the TFA version via a Time Travel adventure. We all had fun. Unfortunently, I haven't been able to play him for a while since the other part-time GM in my group left.
But I can get him up later this week.

Sounds cool. He'd get along "great" with Hacker (who, unfortunately, doesn't have a player).
Well, I've completed my starting character:
I'm keeping some things a bit "mysterious" about the character until formally meeting the rest of the party. When play starts amnd starting characters are beginning to be introduced (probably one by one), the first thing being done (before meeting the party) will be crafting a suit of customizable armor (materials purchased with starting credits).
Just a note—you left his soak at 0.
Just a note—you left his soak at 0.
That's because the character's armor isn't made yet. I only have the materials for the armor. I have to roll the craft check after game play starts.
Shouldn't he still have 3 soak from his Brawn?
Shouldn't he still have 3 soak from his Brawn?
Yep. You are correct, I didn't even realize that was the case. I didn't even give Korath Soak for his Brawn either.
Edited by Tramp GraphicsJust to let everyone know, I'm going to start an OOC thread over in the F&D forum for the campaign. Hopefully this will attract more players/GMs.
Got room for one more?
Sure do. Head over to this thread .
