Screed & Ackbar

By Norell, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Screed: His description says that you can change a dice to face with "a" crit icon. As it doesn't specify that it has to have exactly one crit, does this mean that you can sue a black dice and change it to a damage+crit side?

Ackbar: According to his description I have to declare to attack from the sides before the attack step and in this case I can add 2 red dices to the attack pool. Does this apply to flotillas as well? So can a weaponless flotilla attack with 2 red dices thanks to Admiral Fishhead?

Screed: Spend a die to flip another one to a crit facing, which includes the hit/crit on black dice.

Ackbar: Adding dice is in the modify dice part, so you must first get there. Since you have no attack dice on the flotilla sides, you cancel the attack. Same for a CR90A attacking an obstructed target at long range from it's side. You remove the die, have none, so the attack stops.

Screed, correct, any face that features at least a crit icon.

Ackbar. Not quite, you can add 2 dice to the attack pool, however you must first be able to gather an attack pool from your battery armanent.

Flotillas have no armanent on their sides, so cannot gather an attack pool. No shot, so no ackbar.

Same is true of obstructed shots where the battery armanent is a single dice.

And can Screed be used on every ship in your fleet once each turn?

Yes.

Yes.

I like your new style of replying to questions.

Reminds me of me :D
