I am wondering which Squad Builder to use for PC at the moment?

" Yet another Squad Builder " was my favorite for a long time, but it doesn't feature the new T-70 XWings like Snap Wexley and Nien Numb, even though I have already got these models in my collection for weeks now. I know, updating means a lot of work and it takes some time, but HOTR is not really THAT new anymore, is it?

I would also like to build Squads with Wave 10 models already, but the Tie-Fighters have not been implemented yet, either.

There is also the rather new xwing-builder.co.uk ("Unofficial XWing Squadron Builder") which looks really nice and has got a very good usability.

Unfortunately there are important ships missing as well, just like the "Resistance Sympathizer" YT-1300 for example.

So I often have to switch between these two Squad Builders, because there seem to be ships missing in both of them.

What if I am going to build a Squad with the Resistane Sympathizer and Snap Wexley? I'll be screwed then, I guess

Ummm... Not sure where you're getting your bad information - I suggest deleting your cookies and trying again. YASB has everything in it. And VoidState's squadron builder was one of the first ones for the game.

And I feel like I just got Ninja'd...

Try to clear your browser cache. YASB has both Snap and Nien Nunb as T-70 pilots.

I generally use an app, but before I did, I used YASB because it worked better on a mobile device.

(YA)SB is my go-to squad builder.

And that's despite the primary coder being a known horse-thief and murderer, a man of violent and intemperate disposition.

YASB is my pick of default; it's just that much faster to throw ships together than the (otherwise excellent, especially in presentation and stats) voidstate builder.

I love void state's builder (the UK one). I never use cards, just his print out because it is so easy to read.

YASB is top notch. It's always updated with everything from a preview within a few hours. Because immediately after a preview is the time I want to squad build most, this is the only one I use anymore.

I use YASB as well, mostly because of speed - it is exceptionally quick and easy to throw squadrons together, and also fiddle with them until I'm happy. The card browser is also exceptionally handy!

Another vote for YASB. X-Wing Builder is just a little more clunky and awkward, and IIRC has a history of recording some cards and interactions incorrectly, which I've not seen YASB do as yet.

YASB is comfortable to use and makes it incredibly easy to get an overview for all of your options. X-Wing builder isn't as comfortable for building but it offers options for traking wins/losses and a better overview of saved squadrons. I use both, YASB for sketching up squadrons, X-Wing builder for when i want to use one regularily.

just echoing that YASB is definitely the best, loads the quickest and is so simple to navigate, updated sure quick as well.

I love YASB, formerly having an iPhone and iPad they would both work through browser if I wasn't at home on my PC. Now that my phone is Android, I still can't bring myself to switch to anything but YASB, it's just good.

Have you tried X-Wing Squadron Builder for Android - It's indispensable for those moments where you need to come up with a list in a tunnel.

At this point I'd reach for my phone to make a list, even sat at my PC. Hell, it's enough for me never to even consider an iPhone.

That's a problem of the German translation, probably related to the translated ship name with just some "ship: T-70-X-Flügler " tags missing on those pilots. It's an issue I've faced *a lot* the last couple years updating the Spanish version, to the point now I just add the effing tag to everything just in case.

It's something pretty easy to change tho, so you could fix it yourself in few minutes if whoever does the German updates doesn't change it. Everything it's in the coffeescripts/cards-de.coffee file. Or opening a ticket if you don't dare to mess with the files
