I'm betting on somewhere in the low 70s. If they overprice the ship and underprice the upgrades like the interdictor. It means we won't see pelta's without fleet command upgrades which is sad.

The question is going to be there: "With the unique Fleet command slot, and the seeming plethora of Dice and Upgrades it has... Is it going to be Moderately Priced?"
Just on stats, the nearest equivalent is the Gladiator 2. Same hull and tokens, but 1 less shield. Same front arc, but only half the side arcs. 2 aa dice, but one is black. Similar upgrade options, except for fleet command. Better squadron and engineering values.
So at least the black die version should be in the GSD IIs neighborhood.
That's about how I reason it out.
"Moderately priced" is in the eye of the beholder. My sense is that the pricing on the Interdictor is in line with units like the AFMK-II-A, but its problem is that it is a defensively oriented ship in a game that, in its present state, really rewards the ability to quickly remove the opponent's units so that they no longer cause damage. On the Phoenix Home, the 3 squadron with the ability to push 4 (token or EHB) or 5 (token and EHB) is very attractive and should make it relevant as cheap carrier in fast-moving smaller lists, particularly if one of the Fleet Command upgrades benefits that style of list. In the 60s, it sounds moderately priced to me.
50 points is "moderately priced". Just like I put a "moderate" amount of salt and seasoning on my food when I cook.
I'm thinking it will be around the AF. It won't replace it. Did the Raider replace the Glad? Did the ISD replace the Vic? No. This ship will find a home in certain fleets, and it will compete and compliment the AF.

I still think the black dice one will cost more
I think the way FFG counters the whole "decline of large ships" is by making medium sized ships fill dedicated roles..whilst the big boys can focus on straight up battleshipping.
I would totally ClawPoMB the OP, for baiting me into thinking an article went up, but that just got mega nerfed today.
Nitpick time - when I think of the "Fleet Command" upgrade, I feel like its out of place on a small cruiser like the Pelta. It seems to me that most of the time command ships are the biggest, baddest ships in the group so really the MC80 variants should have this upgrade slot.
I started a similar thread about this. Basically, I think it would be only fitting for a unique officer upgrade to come along that adds a Fleet Command slot to another ship.
The GSD-II is only 10 points cheaper than an AFMK-IIB
Is that going to be a huge difference between Moderately priced or not?
Because, I mean, Perhaps I'm Crazy - but I already thought the AFMK-IIB was moderately priced...
Well the VSD2 is only 13 points more than the AF B... so we could be surprised.

I don't think so.
Imperials get the Interdictor schenanigans and the Rebels get the Fleet Command ones....its only fitting that the Rebels get something the Imps don't. Fair's fair
I am really curious about this ship. So much potential.
I am a bit bummed though that it has the strong front arc rather than broadsides.
Then there would truly be no reason to take the AF...
Which would be GREAT
Darn it I thought the article was up
Yeah SirDave what in the heck?
When I saw the title of your post, my anticipation, my joy, my excitement were at the highest levels!
Then I clicked on the news. nothing?
Then I clicked on your post.
Deflation. We need to work on your titles.
1) You guys get excited way too easily...
2) Yeah, sorry about that. That was a bad title, although in my defense, the title didn't say "released" or anything of that sort.... it was just too ambiguous.

Perhaps you are...
It is moderately priced, just ugly. I like everything about it except it's look... and I am just excited there is something in the Reb fleet with 3 squadron (not priced over 100) so I never have to again hate myself for fielding an AFII.
So in conclusion, perhaps I am...
Based off what we have seen so far, it looks like it combines the AF and MC30 into a close range carrier which seems like it will be a lot of fun. Now you take my 6 dice from my B-Wings, and then take my black dice.

In a vacuum, sure that sounds fair. But thematically, grav well generators and fleet tactics are apples and oranges. Grav wells are Imperial secret weapons, so it makes sense that they could be limited to the Empire. Fleet Command shouldn't be exclusive to Rebels because then Tarkin, Vader, and (some day) Thrawn could never use them.

Game mechanics trumps obedience to the IP? That is really all I have.
Same reason an ENTIRE Xwing squad is less durable than a single YT1300
Same reason Xwings only cap at 2 damage when the books had them dropping an ISD's front shield facing with a full salvo of torpedoes.
Same reason Imperials have a unique squad besides the 151st.

Oh, I'm not talking Some Day. I'm talking now.
We'll hand over Fleet command once we've stolen Experimental. I mean. Hell. We've stolen Everything else...
