As regards STealth Device, I suspect there's a much better argument for this monster with Countermeasures. Get one kill per round near it, your 2-agi large ship is now 3-agi and sheds a TL a round. Enjoy.
Ya the more I think about it, the more Countermeasures in combo with this just seems absurd for Jumps and Lancers. It seems so good it might even be worthwhile on IGs and YVs. You get to choose when you crack it, so you just grab your extra agility either a) when you need it desperately or b) when you know you are gonna drop something so you can just replenish it. Or, alternatively, you just crack it every round, and just play the numbers game expecting that you will get to replenish it again and again in the near future.
And you know what's crazy? before this past tourney season and the invention of Dengaroo, I guarantee any comment that mentions Countermeasures in combo with this is glanced over and forgotten since CMs is a "back of the binder" card. Now? Everyone is terrified of it.

Remember you need to be at range 1-2 though. Something that is getting forgotten here is that a big reason Alpha strikes work is because they can pound a ship from range 3 on the very first engagement. Crane isn't going to trigger in the optimal scenario.

Am I crazy or does "A Score to Settle" look pretty good on a Tie/D Vessery?
Edit: Ninja'd but I think Vessery has an argument for Settling Scores as he gets re-rolls and mini-focus on both shots.

now we know that "A Debt to Pay" will also be really good against Tie/D Maarek with Ion Cannon
can't see it ever being used on something as expensive or as squishy as a Tie/D. Far more partial to making Hux work there

Dont forget the crane can go away. Its ..what is it 50% chance to roll a blank on a red die? You still get the card flipped back up but you might only get it once.
Also this would be funny against swarms. Drop bomb...get one back...drop bomb...get it back...etc etc

Its only got 2 attack, so the odds of it doing damage reliably (especially with the action handing tractor tokens instead of focus/tl) are really bad. But, 17pts for the PS1 guy with the mod to completely screw with your enemy until they kill it is so worth it lol
Spacetug Tractor Array is going to be crazy fun. It's an ACTION to Tractor Beam someone. Just think of all the ways you can mess with a PTL Arc Dodger. You move first and get in R1 of someone like Soontir Fel. Trigger your action to Tractor him. You can Barrel Roll or Boost the guy. You know he's probably doing a 2 bank or 2 turn. How easy would it be to set him up for a bump....or go onto an asteroid....or even go off the board!?!? The level of stupid things you can do is hysterical.
Pretty much. People have a habit of ignoring the chance of being slammed into a rock because tractors are so rare.
Plop any given ace behind a rock, they will hit it when they activate and even if they didnt take damage, they have no actions and -1 agi. Thats huge.

No, but the crane also works if your friend next to you dies. It's not enemy ship, it's any ship. So the three BSAs roll up and shoot their missiles. If the return fire kills one, BOTH ships can recover their spent missile.

I'm saying there is no action involved because of the timing window and wording. The ability doesn't say anything about performing bomb upgrade card actions, similar to other abilities that assign tokens or acquire target locks without an action. Timing is relevant because after revealing a maneuver (Zuvio's timing window) is not a normal time to perform an action. The card says drop a bomb, and it says the bomb may have the Action header. The wording and timing together make exceptions to normal bomb rules.
