5 shields mitigates Debt to Pay a bit, and it's a cheap way to trigger his ability.

Who cares about X-Wings and TIE's, Freighters and Tugboats is what really wins wars :P

Unless I missed something, Zuvio can drop a mine and Tractor someone into it on the same turn.

You need a way to get an action as the move is red (but there is a tech slot that can do that).

This is Star Wars, when has that ever NOT been the case.... Look a the Falcon, the Outrider.....

So if I am reading Scavenger Crane correctly. If I have it on a Kkisdfoshdfiuwenl, and a K-wing is destroyed that is equipped with TLT, I can take the TLT from the K-wing, and put it on the Klkjshdfl;hksfutywe;a;. ??

That is....awesome.

Er nope... but if you are playing Special-Ks with missiles and Scavenging Crane, you fire your missile and then either the enemy or one of their wingmates dies within range 1-2 your missile refills.

The card reads:

"After a ship [i interpret to mean ANY ship] is destroyed at range 1-2, you may choose a discarded Torp, missile, bomb, cannon, turret or modification upgrade card that ship [i read this as the destroyed ship] that was equipped to your ship [i read as the one with the crane card] and flip it face up...."

The only reason a cannon, turret, or mod slot would be facedown is Boba or if they consider all cards of destroyed ships to be face down. This is what I am confused about.

I'm saying there is no action involved because of the timing window and wording. The ability doesn't say anything about performing bomb upgrade card actions, similar to other abilities that assign tokens or acquire target locks without an action. Timing is relevant because after revealing a maneuver (Zuvio's timing window) is not a normal time to perform an action. The card says drop a bomb, and it says the bomb may have the Action header. The wording and timing together make exceptions to normal bomb rules.

The part people are getting caught up on its where you said he could Tractor them onto the bomb in the same turn. Using the Tractor would require an action, which he can't do after a red maneuver. He'd either need Pattern Analyzer or Adrenaline Rush to do that.

You read the card wrong. It specifically says that after a ship is destroyed at range 1-2 (any ship), you may flip one of your discarded upgrades of the appropriate type faceup. It doesn't allow you to take an upgrade that was equipped on another ship.

Important phrase "that was equipped to your ship". So it refreshes cards your ship has used or had destroyed.

Agree.

Mmm....we will see any Turrent/Cannon with a "discarding" effect soon?

There IS another way to restore a Cannon or Turret! IF you use the old deck (you shouldn't) and draw the one that discards a secondary weapon.

Don't use the old deck. Ever.

This is Star Wars, when has that ever NOT been the case.... Look a the Falcon, the Outrider.....

Ep.1, Ep. 2, Ep. 3, Ep. 4, Ep. 6, & Ep. 7

A single YT-1300 gets honorable mentions for an assist in Ep. 4, and Ep. 7

Wedge Antilles destroyed the second Deathstar in an X-Wing with that same YT-1300 backing him up in Ep. 6  :P

But can you deny that if they had had a squadron of Falcons rather than X-Wings the job wouldn't have been a darn sight easier.

Do they have a score to settle wrong in the article, as a score to settle says

"During setup, before the "Place Forces" step, select 1 enemy ship and assign the 'A Debt To Pay' Condition card to it.

When attacking a ship that has the 'A Debt To Pay' Condition card, you may change 1 focus result to a critical hit result"

Normally you refers to the ship equipped with the upgrade, but the article says that the ally can change the focus as well

Falcon + Sabine + smuggling compartment + Crane = drop them bombs!

theres 2 cards involved.

The actual upgrade card refers to the ship with the upgrade

The condition refers to the ship with the condition.

Both ships gain the same effect, its just not on the same card.

Worth a shot. I'm liking the ideas this brings up.

i kinda feel like Clusters would be better for that.

Not "quite" as deadly, but it removes the range1 deadzone and you ideally want range2 for the crane, which means low PS getting a TL to fire that missile probably will end up in range1 if not dodged entirely.

What a fun little ship. Here I thought there was going to be an X-Wing ship that I wouldn't pick up. Guess I've gotta get two (or more ;p) just to mess with people.

The main issue is getting the TL on a PS 1 pilot. Really the Pirates can do it themselves. You need higher PS:

Zuvio is PS 9 and will have a much easier time grabbing a TL. Hopefully he can survive long enough to get an alpha off. Maybe Cloaking Device on the Jumper might be better than the crane. 1 point imitative bid to hopefully give it away if they have PS 9. Pretty sweet giving everyone Deadeye.

Hi Folks!

With the eve of Wave X upon us, I just updated the brand new (& wonderfully !crazy!crazy!crazy!) Quadjumper from the cool new article Fly Backward . Without a doubt, the hardest one I've done yet (phew!).

I had to create new movement symbols with the advent of the new backwards (& wonderfully !crazy!crazy!crazy!) movements which took a while plus the first ships (that I'm aware of) with a speed one forward but no speed 1 left or right bank moves - so I was triple checking everything to make sure it was right.

Once we get all of the movements for all of the Wave X ships out, I will update all of the rest including in the PDF's that I maintain for you, my fellow X-wing players/fans. So without further ado, I present to you the Quadjumper (& wonderfully !crazy!crazy!crazy!) God bless and enjoy!

Quadjumper%20Scum%20and%20Villainy_zpsoi

Just wanted to let you guys know that I updated the new Quadjumper for all of you, God bless :D !
