How is collectability treating you?

18 packs, 0 Legendary :( Pretty sure I"m only buying by the box from now on.

I guess i should be happy with my 1 Legendary then. I feel the same way though, no more loose packs for me. If i do buy more I'll probably buy a box.

I'd only buy by the box. But if I do buy just one or two, it'll be from a fresh box as I beleive the legendaries are near the front

I definitely like the 6 legendaries per box guarantee, given my typical luck. Makes the decision to buy a box at a time a lot easier.

Looks like Force is not with me. I've got 14 packs and 0 legendary

Characters: Padme, Padawan

Support: BB8, Tie Fighter

Upgrades: Rey's Stuff, Sith Holocron, Force Protection, Cunning, Immobilize, Survival Gear, Infiltrate, Promotion, 2xHoldout Blaster

I guess I am on the curve somewhere. 30 Boosters, 5 legendaries, some good pulls and some weird skews.
For example: 3x Grievous, 3x Sith Holocron and 3x Jetpack...... Will have to trade some of those off.

Legendarys:

Jabba

Phasma
Force Choke
Han
Luke's Lightsaber

Very few characters though, apart from the legendary ones, General Veers, Bala Tik and the Grievouses (Grievii?)

Overall, card balance is fairly evenly spread between Blue, Red and Yellow, though far more dice in yellow and red than blue. A few support (luckily only 1 Rey's Staff) but most are usable. Going to try for an Elite Grievous and Regular Jabba deck. Going to throw at least one jetpack in there, as the idea of Jabba flying around on a jetpack is somewhat amusing!

I opened my second box today and the legendaries were awesome compared to my first one. I got Han, Luke, Jabba and Vader in this box, where Jabba was the only legendary character I got in the first box.

Got a good spread of characters now, some elite, some single, and two Holocrons. Only thing I'm sad about is no Jetpacks.

Also, two boxes and only 1 BB-8 and no Rey's Staff, which looks a lot better than average when reading this thread.

So yeah, I'm happy, been playing with my kid all day, life is good :)

Case and a half:

4x rays staff

4x bb-8

4x infantry grenades

3x kylos lightsaber

A single legendary character.

Decent other legendaries.

Just some highlights, but I was able to trade alot of stuff still siting one one legendary character but rounded out my no legendaries pretty good. I can't move any of my kylos lightsaber's seems like everyone locally pulled a billion.

I've gotten at least one rare for each pack I've purchased, so I must be doing something right.

I've gotten at least one rare for each pack I've purchased, so I must be doing something right.

That's because each booster comes with a rare or legendary, one uncommon and three Commons silly.

And since those uncomons are one per pack they should be viewed as diceless rares.

From my box:

Poe and black one, millenium falcon, luke and kylo's lightsabers and comanding pressence.

2 nights sisters but sadly no queen amidala's (I wanna make a mill/discard deck FFG!)

And waaaay to much bala tiks- I swear if I see that dopey eyed gimp one more time...

Think I have only 3 dice that were in the starters, and one was a stormtrooper, so that's ok. maybe I should go build me a stormtrooper legion deck ;)

Thats the joke.

My 15th booster opened and 1st legendary - Luke! At last, I'm so happy

Ten random packs on Saturday - highlights were Vader, Qui-Gon, Scout, and Nightsister.

Excellent, I'd say. I have opened 70 packs and have almost 2 of everything and at least one of 90%. Got 11 Legendaries.

Opened two booster boxes (72 packs). Standard distribution of legends (6 per box), but not getting 2x of some of the rares hurts. Seems like you need to buy 6 booster boxes to get a complete playset.

Actually I just realized there are some rares and uncommons I didn't even pull in my 2 booster boxes. Missing these rares: jet pack, rebel trooper, amidala, scout, sith holocron and missing a bunch of uncommons (Willpower, Mindtrick, Infamous, Retreat)

Update.

I have gotten 32 packs and three starters.

I was lucky enough to pull more legendaries than i should have (8 total).

I sold three legendaries (Han, Han, Vader) and made back most of my money.

So overall I have a nice collection for very little money. I got lucky with my pulls and with the high valuation of pre-release cards, I think legendary characters are not currently necessary for a competitive deck so trading or selling off your good pulls will remain a good way to play on the cheap.

I think the team building side of this game is an extremely bad fit for the collectable model. I think the starters should have three characters of each color with one die each, one character and two generics.

Opened a Booster Box today.

Legendary: Jabba, Crime Lord, Han, Millenium Falcon, Kylo's Saber

All 5 yellow legendaries was pretty fortunate, if a little strange. I'd gotten a Thermal Detonator at a prerelease event, so I'm pretty stoked about having a playset there.

The box itself gave me a ton of pairs: two Ackbar, two Veers, two Tusken Raiders, two Jetpacks, two Scouts, two Nightsisters, two Grievous. I can't tell if this is a good or bad thing -- on the one hand, it's nice having the full playset for some cards right off the bat; but I'm a bit bummed that I didn't get more of a variety. Add that on top of starter cards (BB-8, Rey's Staff, Stormtrooper) and I have enough doubles that I'm a little wary about investing in any random packs beyond a booster here or there. I think I'll just grab the cards I need for the few decks I'm interested in on the secondary market.

Pretty much the contents of my box to.

Seems like there's a lot of clustering, and the shuffler didn't do a great job. After six boxes, there are still some "uncommons" that I have zero of, but several others I've got (literally) a dozen of. Same thing in the dice... I've got 1 Holocron, but (I think) 11 Infiltrate, and 9 On the Hunt.

It also seems like the legendaries tend to clump up as well. More than one box I pulled 3 consecutive packs with legendaries.

I probably wouldn't have anyway, since buying boxes guarantees the legendary distribution, but I probably won't buy any loose packs if I can help it.

As others have said, Uncommons are just Rares with no dice.

Two full booster boxes left me okay for the hero side but terrible for the villain side. Too many of my rares and legendary's are equipment rather than characters. I have no Rogue villains. After more than $200 I think I should be able to field more than 1 or 2 barely passable villain decks or have a stack of yellow villain cards that I can't really use. I think there needs to be a higher percentage of legendary/rare characters to equipment over what it currently is.

I agree with not buying loose packs but that's a turn off to many gamers; not everyone can pluck down hundreds of dollars for boxes. I work at a gaming store and it's hard for me to push individual booster sales when I know that they have very little value.

I've only bought six boosters so far but I have Launch Bay with no red heroes and Crime Lord with no yellow villains... so collectibility is treating me pretty much how I expected :)
