Yeah, I think I would have struggled less if Norra hadn't been constantly double stressed. She died last and put up quite a fight, more often than not staying at range 3 and putting asteroids between her and the enemy.

THis might well be a big part of why you lost. Getting Norra double stressed kills her pilot ability almost entirely, and her pilot ability is GOOD. Before you do anything else I'd suggest giving it another try with the rules understood correctly by both players...

Yeah that's why one TB one flechette and one ion works better, you strip an agility stress and ion to prevent the removal of stress it kills small ships quick.

not really, most of the time if someone wants to, he'll be dead before engaging the enemy. He'll die at range 3, why get close to let him touch you? Unless your sarcasm is that dry.
