I was hopeing that you guys could explain specialisations to me and how they work and perhaps give some examples on when/how they are used. Thank you very much for any help you can give

A specialisation gives you an extra fortune dice whenever it is relevant, and you buy them at character creation. For instance if you had a weaponskill specialisation called 'hand weapons' then every time you used a hand weapon you would get an extra fortune dice.

You can also purchase a Specialization for a skill with an advancement point.
