Completed the first scenario and it was a lot of fun. But looked at the end of game rewards and was wondering during what it meant by "gain 2 experience if you gained insight into the world of the mythos."

I don't see what that means anywhere and honestly it sounds kinda fluffy. Is it basically just 2 exp?

It says "AS you gained insight" not IF. So you get whatever XP you collected via victory points for the game plus 2 more just for being awesome, or surviving unthinkable horror, whatever...

Fair enough, I may not have ready it clearly. Thank you.

It may also be a translation thing, if you have a non-english copy apparently some have been translated as 'if'.
