Thanks for getting the fleet lists!

Great stuff. Looks like a close run at the top end there, two Rebs just squeezing out 2 imps!

Great store, awesome folks. Thanks to my opponents for giving me a good learning on the new meta, seeing I have not really played since it came out...it was eye opening. Great event.

It was a great store no doubt! Love the music selection! And those playmats! We did battle over the state of FLorida in the first round!

How did TRC90 with IO work out? Did you find it useful and worth the points?

Crabbok, That was you with the white bases? Ah.

Awesome. I've been using IO with my TRC90s for awhile now. They are obviously great against flotillas, but they are ALSO really great against larger ships with a single brace or even doubles if you happen to roll an accuracy. Even against an MC30 you can make things happen - "One accuracy to your redirect, and IO the Other redirect".

Crabbok, That was you with the white bases? Ah.

Yup. Who were you? I don't remember everyone's handle to faces.

I got the win on sat. Had the random bye in the first round. Definitely ended up being tight near the top, and seemingly low scoring. The bye was potentially a factor in that stopping the potential of 9 or 10 points in the first game, but you never know of course. Played the second place build in the second round, and with the other side of the table being other smaller faster ships, it was difficult for anyone to win big in that one. I think we only got 5 turns in for what it's worth? Might have even only been 4, but that just seems ridiculous. Pretty sure it was 5. Most events seem to have the scoring requirements a bit higher for one reason or another for sure though. Last game was against 5th place, but we were the top 2 going into round 3 of course. Was a very well played game on both sides. Very fun, very tense but no one had an attitude or anything. Armada has a great community/environment 99% of the time. With the activation edge and initiative, I was able to just manage to weave the admo through the two liberties (they were basically covering each other) and get control of the game. Only took a couple long range shots from the front arcs, but it could've ended very poorly of course. One liberty managed to survive to deny the the tabling with one hull after having 3-4 shots not proc torps against it over the course of the game. It would just not have any of it! Several people there were still realitively new to the game, and the length of it can be grueling of course with 3 back to back games (vote was let's skip food break and get through the event), but I think everyone enjoyed the day for the most part. The trophies for the Star Wars track games this year are so slick.

That wall of text tho.

He rocked the red accented imperial fleet, aka Blood Squadron. Black bases with ship names on them.

Yep, was wearing the red Tampa Bay 501st shirt. And was busy getting my rear whipped by bombers, thanks to not listening to Destraa, really. That should teach me.....

Ahhh ok I didn't play you - so that's probably why. Good deal though!

Good games. Yeah I think we only got to finish that 4th turn - because I remember joking about it when everyone was crowing around watching us with only 7 minutes left saying "Yup folks, we are just now starting turn 4!".

That's really the problem with the black dice though, trying to hit fast ships can be rough. Well played though no doubt. You taking out my Jan so early was huge. really took away so much of my squadrons on that first engagement.
