Looking for input, Triple ARCs

By Kepora, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Norra Wexley (35)
ARC-170 (29), R2-D2 (4), Rage (1), Nien Nunb (1), Alliance Overhaul (0)

Shara Bey (35)
ARC-170 (28), Targeting Astromech (2), Wingman (2), Weapons Engineer (3), Alliance Overhaul (0)

Thane Kyrell (30)
ARC-170 (26), R3-A2 (2), Tactician (2), Alliance Overhaul (0)

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how I could tweak this. It should be pretty obvious how it works; Thane focuses and stresses (hopefully twice) an enemy target, Shara provides TL support and extra firepower of her own, and Norra uses Rage to get a focus and a pseudo-TL. Shara helps strip one of the stress if Norra rages or helps out Thane, Thane has a 50/50 of shedding the stress himself (I've had a lot of good luck with this), Norra inevitably makes a green move to shed the last stress as the group flies slow in formation after the initial attack run to try and catch someone in their tail arc, rinse and repeat.

Braylen Stramm is the de-stress pilot ability.

Rage and wingman is an interesting combination.

Oh, derp! I plugged the wrong pilot in, then. Do you think replacing Tactician with Ezra would be a viable option for Braylen? Or maybe Kanan or Kyle? I'm heading out to play now, so I'll check the htread again in about 45 minutes to see what people think would be the optimal crew choice for Braylen!

The way your build works is what I call "forced synergy." The combos can work, but what you really built is a house of cards. Right now you're spending 65 points on utility (Shara and Thane) and relying too heavily on Norra for offense. If Shara dies first, then the loss of Wingman cripples your build.

Switch Thane to Braylen if you want to get the most out a Stress ARC. R3-A2 and Thane work against eachother. Stress will prevent Thane from using his pilot ability. That switch let's you take Wingman off Shara and use an EPT to boost your offense some more. I would also consider M9-G8 for Shara instead of Targeting Astro. Lock your allies for the first engagement, because Shara won't get close enough to lock higher PS Aces on the first pass. Use anything other than Rage on Norra. PtL is the default for a lot of people, but Predator isn't bad either.

Basically you want your ships to be able to function independently. Right now if you take one out, the rest of the list is disabled.

Braylen's default crew is Gunner, but Tactician isn't bad either. Both of those crew give you the ability double stress a target, which is the goal of any R3-A2 build.

Yeah, I meant to put Braylen in, I goofed there. And I've found that this still works if you lose a ship - you just gotta be a bit more clever. I was thinking of putting Ezra, Kanan, or Kyle on Braylen to make him capable of further support and/or independence.
