So how viable can whisper or Echo be with the HSCP? Stripping tokens before dice can be shot back at her in many cases.

This can open up all kinds of options for Imperial wingmen to take advantage of, friends who can now benefit from Opportunist.. Say TIE/SF's....... Thoughts here?

Going to be Devil's Advocate. Whisper is already expensive, HSCP puts that build at 43 points. I agree that she will strip one focus from one enemy when she shoots - but chances are your opponent will spend that focus anyway because it's 4-5 red dice coming at them.

HSCP does make her a bit more unattractive to shoot at, but again, if played right your opponent will be doing everything in their power to push damage through ('cause you're cloaked with a focus token). If you want to punish your would-be attackers, Rebel Captive is one point cheaper and worth it every time.

Side note: Not sure Opportunist is worth the points in any list, really.

Im more excited for Operation Specialist on Whisper. Guarantees she gets a focus whether she hits or not. You can take an evade every time and end with 4 green, evade, and focus. Plus it helps your entire squad out as focus tokens can be tossed around anytime someone doesnt hit.

Hotshot Copilot is great for forcing people to spend focus tokens - I would suggest therefore that Hotshot Copilot and Sensor Jammer would be a sensible pairing. If you know you can force someone not to have focus tokens by the time they shoot at you, Sensor Jammer makes a cloaked Phantom nigh untouchable.

i think that Agent Kallus is better both offensively and defensively for phantoms, and it's just 2 pts
