If you want the A-wing to be a blocker, I would recommend push the limit instead of Snap Shot. Snap Shot sounds great, but in my limited experience, it doesn't trigger very often, but it probably will change the way your opponent plays.

With Poe, R2-D2 or R5-P9 is personal preference, and Sensor Cluster meshes well with R2 Poe. You might want PTL on Poe so he can both boost and focus to trigger Black One and you are likely to do a green.

Honestly if you have them try your list with Vectored Thrusters. You will find the repositioning super helpful and likely get more use than you will AT's as now your opponent has to be ready for more options for you to end up at.
