If the OL LT's ability said "focus" instead of "stress" would it be OK or broken. I'm leaning towards "not enough" in today's action crazy game.

He might see some play but still wouldn't be everywhere if he received a focus token when barrel-rolling with the bank template.

If you gave him an EPT on top of that change he might start showing up a lot but would really end up just being a more maneuverable, less token stacky Soontir at PS5.

I think just getting rid of the Stress would be good.

I will say he's good in Mario Kart X-wing.

I like the idea of giving the LT a focus or evade when he does the curved BR instead of the stress. He could also use an EPT along with Fel's Wrath and Kir Kanos.

It would be more in line with the new level of power in the game. It would probably make him a lot better with no EPT and mid PS.

I like the idea of him having a focus token rather than a stress. I'm not sure if that + an EPT would be too much or not, but he definitely needs one or the other. Without the stress and either an EPT or free focus, I would probably fly him more than Turr. I've used Lorrir once in a match and with the stress combined with no PTL, he just doesn't cut the mustard.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately and it seems that outside of Soontir and Carnor, interceptors are very over priced for what they do in the current meta.

Its really too bad, but they need like a free focus every round to be worth it. Maybe we can get a new expansion to buff them up a bit.

I'd love him and Kir to see play but without EPTs they're pretty much dead. I'd love to see a modification that give you an EPT if you don't already have one and are PS5+. Small ship only. Maybe even tie only. At 0pts and the mod slot you could get:

Kir or Lorrir + PTL+ autothrusters as pretty solid budget aces. Would they take over the meta? No. Would they be ok? Probably.

I'd be ok with Loreir getting a focus and a stress and an EPT so he wouldn't just take PTL but would still have maneuvering shenanagins.

I've flown a lot of Lorrir. He is capable of positioning strategies no other ship is, even echo - who moves to far. Lorrir w thrusters is fine in a game, defensive enough and positional enough. The trouble comes in offense. You can't boost it, targeting computer falls into the action trap. The day we see an attack modification- is the day lorrir returns to tables.

Something like "laser refocusers" - when attacking, you may reroll eyes. If your att is three or greater, you may convert one eye to a hit result.

I'm a huge fan of Lorrir, he's massively maneuverable in my experience but also very very tough to fly.

I've done well with him but he's incredibly squishy. I recently ran him with Stealth device/Shield upgrade in a fun event, which proved decent.

I think his big downfall is actually the lack of EPT. Giving him Wired would go an incredibly long way.

As is, he's not a good ship for push the limit. But having flown him a lot as well as using wired frequently (my most frequent TIE/fo is Zeta Leader, Wired and Weapons guidence) i think having Wired would make him a solid choice.
