Kanan Jarrus was bored of eyeballs too. Look where that got him.
Getting bored of Eyeballs.

Every time I see him these days, he seems to have three eyeballs.
What about the Lancet...
What you get if you leave a TIE Bomber and a Shuttle alone in a hanger bay...

That's an atmospheric craft, so that's rather unlikely.
While I would like the Chiss Clawcraft in the game, it's really just an Art Deco Eyeball.Gunboats and Chiss Clawcraft alleviate that. Another would be the Invid Clutches and the Gand Starfighter modified TIE Bombers.
It is, but it's still supperior to the majority of TIE designs barring the Defender. It's also more original than pointy flapper Stryker or Fanboy Order gunpod.
I believe he's referring to how the Scout looks like a bus with solar panels.
Not sure I get the reference.TIE Scout? You mean the TIE Mobile Home?
In any event, I mean the ship created for Decipher's extinct CCG.
It has a moderate crew for its size, and fits more of the prolongued exploration than reconnaissance you get with the TIE Fire Control or Vanguards.
Plus, I could easily see the Tie Scout having the Jamming action, which would open the Empire up to being the only of the three factions with access to two of the Epic ship actions, the Upsilon shuttle is bringing Coordinate with it. My only worry with the Tie Scout would be how it might overlap with the Tie Bomber/Shuttle as the two would both be taking support roles. Though I guess maybe just giving the Tie Scout only the one crew slot will help.
I the original post. I think the Imperial 'eyeball' is the standard and I can see how that could be boring, especially to modellers and painters.
But for me I love the theme. In an established military force I would expect to see consistency. Maybe this is over done with the 'eyeballs' but I like it. And the rebellion uses any ship it can get it's hands on and keep running. Constant repairs, mods, fixes to the ship to keep them fighting. But their opponent has hundreds of TIE Fighters, TIE Bombers, TIE Interceptors each different but in the same theme. Interchangeable parts, struts, power converters, etc. mass produced with variations.
I have to say... I love it.
And as someone who is ex-military, lowest bidder engineering sucks ass.
