Dengar
Which Pilot Do You Hate Most? (another poll)
Corran.
Dengar... If you do not bring enough firepower or arc-dodging, you die.
That's just crap to play against.
Why do people hate Corran?????
Honourable mention goes to Omicron Group Pilot because it's nothing but a crew caddy 99% of the time. Nearly every other pilot is on the table to actually do something directly (aided by upgrades most likely) but the OGP is just a crew socket.
Ironic.
Biggs, I guess.

Why do people hate Corran?????
Because when he wins it feels like you are being cheated. He is the most obnoxious of regen ships, because he can stack it with good damage mitigation by himself.
Of course you can always just Proton Bomb one hit him, so eh. Its not too strong, just annoying - a fine ship to hate in that respect I guess.
Dash Rendar
Only ever played in one configuration, ignores a fundamental aspect of X-Wing, refuses to engage. When you play against Dash it doesn't matter if you won or lost you had a miserable time.

Good damage mitigation? which is what? Fickle green dice?
I only play rebels, and I distrust corran and his defence more than I distrust my government.
The regen is good, but also the only thing that makes him remotely viable.

When the most common build uses PTL those 3 dice are pretty fine.

And a Fire Control System. Shooting twice a turn when most useful.
He's also a 48pt sink, so good luck winning a game if it's one-on-one at the end.
I f****ing love Corran Horn.
I hate Defenders, and I can't seem to beat IGs
Edited by The Penguin UKSoontir. It's not an exaggeration to say that 90% of newbies' first unpleasant play experiences are when they encounter the horror of facing Soontir Fel with a list that auto-loses against Soontir Fel. He's also the pilot singlehandedly responsible for much of the game's PS creep.

I think it's more Whispers fault. You HAVE to be shooting before whisper, and if possible, moving after, hence the need for PS10, That got replaced by Soontir with Imp Aces and I think it's calmed down a little bit now.
I flew a PS10 Rey at regionals yesterday, and I only faced PS10 Corran/Wes all day. Everything else was 8 or lower.
