Playable as is. But once you slap Mindlink on him and run him with other Linkers. That's when he shines.

If you've got nothing in the EPT slot give that guy Trick Shot.

Tomax Bren, Crack Shot, Proton Torpedoes, EM, Seismic Bombs, Guidance Chips - 33 pts

Surprisingly hard hitting, and tends to get ignored. Not as directly deadly as the Homing Missiles variant, but more flexible, and since I try to focus fire anyways with other ships without Homing Missiles, not a big loss. I also love the 'adding insult to injury' as they pass him, and then he dumps a seismic on them. :)

Deathfire, EM, Conner Nets, Homing Missiles, LRS - 28 pts

Man, this guy is fun. Deliver a fully modded Homing Missile, and then, the next turn, do a 3-hard or a 3- bank, barrel roll, and then drop a conner right on top of them (or in front). Truly amazing for only 28 pts!

Valen Rudor, Juke, Title, AT, Prockets - 30 pts

I just created him, and haven't played him, but I really am hopeful that he will put this question to the enemy, at Range 1 after having taken Target lock/Evade, and is waiting for a Focus for his prockets: "Do you feel lucky punk, well, do you?"

“Omega Leader” + Comm Relay + Juke + Stealth Device (29)

Braylen with alliance overhaul, gunner and r3a2. 32 points of double stressing rebel madness.

This.

Backdraft VI,Title,FCS,Weapon Guidance,Twin Ion 33pts. Weapon Guidance is nice to guarantee a hit as long as you have a focus token.

OL Comm Relay, Juke, hull upgrade 29 pts. Well known bang for your points.

Tycho Celchu VI,Title, Refit, EI & Expose 32 pts. Expose may be debatable, with a target lock, range 1 & arc dodge it will make Tycho a hard hitter!

Horton Salm, proton torpedoes, autoblaster turret, vectored thrusters

ABT seems like a waste on Horton since he cannot reroll at range 1. How about:

33 Horton Salm (25), TLT (6), R2-D6 (1), Wired (1)

Pull a red early to get a stress and keep it. Now your TLT can reroll all blanks and eyeballs.

Forget not he who gave his life in the face of tyranny:

Jek Porkins (26)
R3-A2 (2)
Hull Upgrade (3)
Wired (1)

"Omega Leader" (21)
Juke (2)
Comm Relay (3)

The Inquisitor (25)
Push the Limit (3)
Autothrusters (2)
TIE/v1 (1)

Total: 57

- Torkix Mul, Dorsal Turret, Tactician, Engine Upgrade

33 Points:

- Jake Farrel, VI, PTL, Proton Rockets, Autothrusters, Title

- Dagger Squadron B-Wing, FCS, HLC

Don't know yet, but looking forward to flying VI Ahsoka with masterpiece, stolen tie and BMST.

Can't shoot me, I slicer you!

Lots, and I dig a bunch of these builds threaded within. I wanted to post earlier, but others love the Pork too, love the risky fun, too.

Fantastic build idea. Probably the best 31 points you can spend for the Imperials. Well, stated Sir clanofwolves, well stated.

(On Imperials) They really are the faction that has a rich set of options to choose from right now, though they have a pretty big void between the 17-28pt range.

TIE/Fo pilots beg to differ.

There are some amazing ones that start exactly at 17 points.:

“Epsilon Ace” (17) - perfect "spotter" for Vessery, same for ordnance-carriers with the upcoming Targeting Synchronizer Tech.

“Zeta Ace” (21) - nasty blocker with crazy reach and cool debuff once he connects. Can Broll off Sloops.

TIE/fo Fighter (18), Primed Thrusters (1), Intimidation (2)

“Omega Ace” (23) - probably the cheapest way to put guaranteed crits onto low-agi ships. Eats Ghosts and Decis alive. Fun thing is you can go Focus+Evade if need be.

TIE/fo Fighter (20), Push the Limit (3)

“Zeta Leader” (21) - my personal favorite version of ZL, with Cool Hand giving him the Shiny and Chrome moment.

TIE/fo Fighter (20), Cool Hand (1)

“Zeta Leader” (21) - pocket PS9 with effectively 3 reds, can you get more for those points?

TIE/fo Fighter (20), Veteran Instincts (1)

Got extra 3 points left? Add Comm Relays here and there. Though only Omega Ace and Zeta Leader really justify paying the premium.

Kad Solus (25)

Calculation (1)

Hull Uprade (3)

Concorde Dawn Protector (1)

Total = 30 Points

What's not to like about Scum & Villainy anyways? (No bias there.. ;)).

I think he is one of the most fun Pilots to fly. Being able to pull a K-turn, or the infamous Talon Roll to activate his ability, while smoothly pulling off an amazing arc dodge - this guy is a movie star!!

I really like Kad Solus' ability to get two Focus tokens - key word, not action - thereby circumventing stress altogether. Plus Calculation is one of my all time favourite upgrades, and who would have thought you can now use it to change one Focus into a critical and the other one (if needed) to change all the other Focus's into hits or you could always save it for defense. I prefer Hull upgrades now (who would have thought ) more and more now, as we seem to be getting a bunch of Shield circumventing abilities, not to mention, with 5 Hull points, he is now immune to Flechette Torpedoes stress effect.

Interesting, I don't have one, nor played against one. But I've heard lots of Finn this and Finn that talk. Nice to know there's another pilot in the pack. One day perhaps.....

Contracted scout,adaptability, intel agent,feedback : 28pts

What else?

Loving these 2 lately:

Backdraft (32)

-Veteran Instincts

-Fcs

-Pattern Analyzer

-Title

Commander Alozen (32)

-Title

-ATC

-Proton Rockets

-Guidance Chips

-Predator

Backdraft is an ace destroyer. People still haven't figured out how to deal with his flight patterns. Commander Alozen is alot like an Imperial Guri, except for the one turn of damage spike (also alot less defensive).

TIE Bomber: · Major Rhymer (26)

Snap Shot (2)

TIE Shuttle (0)

Tactician (2)

· Rebel Captive (3)

Really enjoying flying this at the moment. He is really annoying and with Quickdraw(their fire) escort he sticks around much longer than expected.

I'd argue if you really want to make Kad effective, Predator or Lone Wolf will do a lot more. He can arrange it so he's never without a focus token unless he bumps or rocks, but it's difficult for him to get rerolls as well.

Giving him those rerolls really enhances him an a way Calculation doesn't.

Backdraft- Wired, Title, Collision Detector, Twin Ion MK2, (and maybe Sensor Cluster). 29-31 points with Sensor Cluster

Wired is actually fantastic for Backdraft. He has mods for defense and attack, (which if you blank out you'd be out of luck anyway), or if you do the "double tap" with title. I played a game with this build, and his attacks were always hit, crit or hit, hit, crit. He doesn't need too many defensive mods because he isn't long for this world anyway, but wired has gotten an extra 2-4 evades a game.

I'd concur, but would rather take Primed Thrusters. If you're taking Collision Detector and Wired, the best use for him is to go play in the debris - he can't focus and later pop a stress token easily, so doesn't get to do Zeta Leader's Weapons Guidance trick.

By comparison, being able to do a red move, and still barrel roll (even across debris because collision detector) makes him a squirrely little so-and-so

Turr phennir w/ vi, at's, title, stealth 31 pts

Another good option.

I guess I had in my mind that I had a target lock (from a previous round) from my careful approach and then did a Talon Roll and then used Calculation. Still, I guess Predator or Lone Wolf would give me more options...hmmm...yes indeed. Thanks :D!
