Anyone stated Princess Liea?

By Funk Fu master, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

Im using her for a diplomatic envoy to Mon Cal and may need to call on some rolls either from her or opposed by her.

IMO, the central movie characters shouldn’t be statted up at all. If the PCs hear about them or interact with them in any way, it should be in a purely narrative manner. No rolling should be involved — or allowed.

If you have to stat them up, then I’d do the same thing that FFG did for Lando in “Jewel of Yavin”, in that the stats represent that aspect of the character that the PCs might potentially need to interact with, but do not actually represent the whole of the character at any one point in time — there’s just so much more going on for that character off-screen that the PCs will never see.

To be honest, what I would do is go pick out an existing Adversary that has been statted up, who would fit the description of an Assistant or Adjutant to the Princess, and have that be the person that they’re actually interacting with. The Princess is involved to the degree that her Assistant or Adjutant is involved.

If you do this remember that she is the most accurate shot in the movies.

So I used her last night. I didn't stat her up, I just made up stats for opposed rolls as needed. (Such as 4 red 1 purple for negotiation) which my Pilot PC, who must be the only human in the galaxy who doesn't like the princess, managed to successfully role against twice (with no more than a yellow and 2 green) to first, get out of trouble for using a disruptor pistol on a diplomatic mission and then getting her to foot the 20,000cred bill for the groups shopping spree at the Mon Cal equivalent of Saville Road.

It was hilarious

… getting her to foot the 20,000cred bill for the groups shopping spree at the Mon Cal equivalent of Saville Road.

So, he got one hand-tailored water-proof tuxedo, suitable for use at any amphibious wedding? ;)

The whole group did. I made rules for tailoring garments that if you rolled good enough you could have hidden encumberance, boosts to charm/deception and soak/defence
