According to Nexus of Power , what "cloaked" Palpatine was the Dark Side nexus below the Jedi Temple, not any specific power Palpatine was using to "cloak" his Force Sensitivity.

I would also say it's possibly a property of misdirect.

In palpatines case however, I simply believe that he was so hidden from the Jedi simply because he never did anything to draw attention to himself. Maul was used prior to his disposal and Dooku was recruited afterwards. If there is anything that can be said about the force it's usually that you cannot detect one unless the force is being used or plot calls for it. His self restraint meant that there wasn't any darkside present; at least no more then in any self serving politician.

One Force power Palps might have used is "shroud", a force-talent in the Sentinel:Shadow talent tree. So whenever he used influence on the whole Senat, he previosly used shroud so the Jedi wouldn't notice.

I wonder were he got all those Destiny Points, though. Maybe he had them cloned.

Aye thats certainly doable, though as said I imagine most of the time he simply abstained from using the force and let his plans and apprentices do all the running around for him; probably the reason that he was so explosive actually since it was probably one of the few times that he got to really cut loose with his power, and he never did it anywhere near the Jedi before that councal fight.

With emotions running so high in the Senate, I'd be shocked if any Jedi present would notice anyway. The Light calls for stoicism, the Dark calls to emotion.

Palpatine's use of the Dark Side would nust be an undercurrent to the whole thing.
