So capital ship crews... how do you guys decide how many bridge officers to out on the ship for skills? I found a nifty star destroyer sheet that lists all of the guns, directions of fire, along with crew stats for different bridge officer positions. Im sure someone probably just made up what to put on it crew wise, but what about other ships? Say... a nebulon b? Of course a captain. What about mechanics for damage control? Etc. How do you guys decide what to put in? Or is it written in a book somewhere, how to fill out crew for cap ships?

If you’re talking about the list by Anthony_Nevermind, note that he is my GM and outside of gaming is currently in the military.
The list he put together is based on his own knowledge of how crews work, plus research he has done on typical real-world shipboard crews, as modified by what is known about how many crew were assigned to that particular ship in-game.
So, I would place a pretty high confidence on those numbers, at least for the specific ships that he details. Comparable ratios on other ships would probably be a decent first estimate, but you might be able to do better with some research.

I had never seen that PDF before in my life. Very interesting stuff. I’ll have to take a much more in-depth look at this.
