And if so what Legends ships models were re-canonized by it if any?
In Tarkin Luceno re-canonized a ton of Legends ship models many of which I was utterly shocked to see being included in the new canon and I'm hoping he does the same here.'

Have read it. Didn't actually spot any notable recanonizations of ship models.
However, there was a nod to the CW microseries in its description of Hypori- with big crashed Acclamator and Jedi having suffered a major defeat there. A case of there being "a bit of truth in Legends" again - but in a different way.
Well, right there. The Acclamator

Star Wars In 100 Scenes is a much older newcanon source that also used that name, going by Wookieepedia.
Hell, I can't keep up - just thought it was funny
EU starship fans will be glad cuz the Dreadnaught cruiser is finally canon. It's mentioned in Catalyst and interestingly enough the ship makes its first appearance at the end of the Clone Wars but is already outdated by newer Star Destroyer designs by that time.

I'm not sure about that. As I recall, the mention was lowercase "dreadnought" not "Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser" - The newcanon tends to use the term interchangeably with Super Star Destroyers.

I'm aware that the SSD is some times referred to as a Star Dreadnaught but Catalyst takes place too far back in the timeline(at least a decade before ANH) for it to be referring to SSD's. I will admit that I had assume the author meant Dreanaught Heavy Cruiser and not some generic dreadnaught, as I was listening to the book on Audible so the emphasis was lost on me. Still, I think there's still a possibility that it could be the former.

Complete Locations (rereleased for the newcanon) made the point (Executor Bridge page) that other battleships besides the Executor-class were called SSDs.
"Many in the Imperial military derided the Death Star as 'Tarkin's Folly,' a self-indulgent engineering experiment that wasted credits, raw materials, and personnel. Emperor Palpatine, they argued, should have used those resources to create more giant dreadnoughts in the same class as the mighty Executor. Both Rebels and Imperials refer to these command ships (as well as other classes of massive capital ships) as Super Star Destroyers. Nearly 12 times the size of a standard Star Destroyer, the Executor bristles with thousands of turbolasers and ion cannons, and carries starfighter wings and ground troops sufficient for a planetary invasion. More than a dozen ships of the class are thought to exist, with the roster including the Annihilator, the Ravager, and the Arbitrator. But the true number remains a subject of debate within Alliance Intelligence, as analysts struggle to make sense of Imperial propaganda and penetrate the black budgets designed to hide the extent of Palpatine's secret weapons programs."
It might be a Mandator-type.
I think, given that the superlaser testbed was supposed to have 10x the power of this dreadnought, it's plausible that it's the giant, "Star Dreadnaught" version.
Hmm....interesting. Is this the first time they're official acknowledging other star dreadnaught classes? I should really get that book btw. I heard it's really good.

It conforms to the newcanon (which includes changing the R-22 Spearhead in Yavin Temple to a Phoenix Squadron A-wing, and changing the Death Star 2 size from the 900km figure Saxton used in the original book, to the 160km size that the Legendsverse finally settled on with Death Star Owner's Workshop Manual).
There's some good new content as well for TFA - especially Starkiller Base.
There's an A wing in the Yavin Temple?

There was an R-22 Spearhead in the temple in the old Complete Locations book - since there's no need for that design in the newcanon (it only existed to justify the pre-ANH appearance of ships that looked like A-Wings) - it's been changed to an A-Wing.
In a similar fashion, there was a All Terrain Advance Raider at the Imperial base in Mos Eisley:

but in the updated book, it is labelled "All Terrain Defence Pod", to conform with Rebels:
