Tarn and Jess are your finishers, but Braylen and Zeb are just as threatening, and all 4 have similar enough dials to fly in formation.

I like the idea. One thing I might like to see is a second stressor on Braylen. Looks like the simplest way to achieve that would be moving "Chopper" over to "Zeb" and dropping Jess' Pattern Analyzer to Primed Thrusters, then adding Tactician to Mr. Stramm.

Amazing work for mankind. Have a potato. <3

I think Zeb is the weak link here- Without Chewbacca, he can easily be taken out before he fires by only a portion of the enemy list. Unfortunately, you can't afford to add him, because that strips away points that are adding some fairly critical utility elsewhere in your list.

I'm also a little stumped by your suggestion that Jess is a closer- Her ability doesn't work in the endgame, which reduces her to just a regular T-70- Not exactly something I want to be flying against a Tie Defender, Rebel Regen Ship, or a traditional Imperial Ace.

Love it. Send a mid game pic.

This is actually a surprisingly good list just because all 4 ships pack 3 dice primaries. Make the changes for Braylen to get Tactician and it's downright deadly. The only other thing i'd do is change Tarns astro back to R7, which is like M9 just cheaper. You could use the extra point to put Hera back on Zeb, if you wanted.

Wish I owned jess and tarn. This could be real fun. Cmon Christmas!

Ha, I have a "3 Threes" list that includes:

Eaden Vrill- Blocker/Main Offense
Tarn Mison- Flanker

Braylen Stramm- Stress Mule (Tactician)

Hera/chopper are mainly intended to make up for the Attack Shttle and ARC having Red 3 turns (and a red 4 straight, in the ARC's case), making formation flying awkward.

Dropping the tech slot, I'm giving Jess Trick shot. With all her friends, she loves the extra die on offense and the rock die on defence. With the two points I give Zeb Tactition, and dropping Tarn to R7 lets me give Brandyn a tactition as well.

M9 can be used offensively on one of your own heavy hitters, and then defensively when Tarn is attacked. R7 is purely defensive.

Indeed. It's quite nice even just as a means to give someone pseudo-predator.

If you don't want to use Braylen as a stress-giver, I've seen a recommendation of using him with R2-D6, Rage and Chopper.

Yes but defense in this game, especially for Rebels, is almost always preferable. Even if you can use it offensively, not only is it more expensive, but defensively it's not as good. R7 > M9-G8 on Tarn, JUST BECAUSE you'll live longer.

The SOLE advantage M9-G8 gives is that you can use it multiple times.

R7 is useless unless Tarn is being attacked. M9-G8 can either help Tarn's squadmates by giving them offensive rerolls or by forcing one of the enemy's big hitters to reroll a red die no matter which of your ships they are attacking.

The only way ive gotten use out of Tarn with R7 reliably is slap APTs on him. Pricy as gak but then i can shove him in someone's face and get a free range1 shot because they would never, EVER give me a TL for APTs lol. R7 only being there in case their natural roll was good.

Without APTs people will usually take a range1 shot on him anyway, unless theyre trying to finish another ship off. R7 can protect him most of the time but against 4-5 dice odds are something is still going through.

Dont get me wrong, Tarn is awesome. I ran 3 T65s and a T70 once with him and he was easily the MVP because he kept blocking Vessery and every time he got shot at it was ONLY one ship able to hit him and he R7'd their dice to hell lol

Can we just cheat and put the Lothal Rebel in there, instead of the Attack Shuttle? They both came in the Ghost package so.... accidents happen.

It would be level 3 too.

Large base screws up Jess's formation flying.

I was actually looking into Resistance Sympathiser with Cargo Chute teamed with Trick Shot Jess., but jess needs more friends to make it work.

Not in theme to your list, but you could drop Tarn for Biggs (there's room in points) for a Biggs Brother list.

Would somebody notice if the ghosts suddenly costs 18 points only?

It wouldnt be worth more than that anyways, as long as I fly it.

Once we get Sabine's TIE we can bring Zeb at a cheaper price and put a couple more upgrades where its needed.

Yeah, he goes to a 2die ship, but honestly his ability is pretty potent in a TIE since its biggest issue is the random crit it didnt dodge...well he dodges them first lol. Also an Illicit boat if you can find a shenanigan for that.

I like these lists that involve all the same PS ships. I got an imperial one called "The Mighty 7s" which is Mithel/Scourge/Backdraft/Omega Ace. Be surprised how deadly that combo is lol. Got a pre-SF variant with Stele in there too.

Go B Team!

Not in theme to your list, but you could drop Tarn for Biggs (there's room in points) for a Biggs Brother list.

If you were looking to break theme for a bit more power, this is where I'd go. The Stolen Tie Fighter also opens up possibilities as a support ship that will leave more points to add tools to Tarn/Jess/Braylen, although if you're taking Biggs, I'd spend a point to upgrade to Captain Rex since the "All PS 3" advantage has been lost

So... I actually took my squad out for a real battle. Against Palp Whisper Quickdraw to boot! And won on time. Granted it was a pretty casual game, but still, this little squad was really impressive! A little bit of repositioning, a lot of blocking. Back arcs, rerolls, STRESS. C3PO. It was quite fun if you remembered your basics, got arcs, did blocking. (Blocking most people can't do).

I really recommend giving it a shot! It was really fun.

A cool little tidbit: T-70s have Boost. After watching our best Rebel player, I'm convinced that the best T-70 players are the ones who know how to use the Boost on the low level ones to block and reposition. That power is so incredible.

Which actually brings me to a crazy little strategem: Normally you'd want Awing and Jess Pava in front, so they can boost.

However, I forgot and put Jess in the back. After doing a slight turn, there was enough for me to boost out to the side, and gave me an incredible arc coverage and huge amount of area denial with her boost from the second line. If you fly straight though, putting Jess in the back is less advantageous. It's also still best to try and keep her in a tight knit group as long as possible.

So, I have been chasing this list around in my head for a bit this morning. I think this makes for an interesting start to a list:

Biggs Darklighter (25)
R4-D6 (1)
Integrated Astromech (0)
Braylen Stramm (25)
Gunner (5)
R3-A2 (2)
Alliance Overhaul (0)
Captain Rex (14)
Total: 72
Rex is going to spend a lot of time bumped if you fly in formation but that really doesn't matter if you can keep one threat in arc. For the remaining 28 points you can fit in a nicely kitted Jess Pava or for some real funzies Roark with TLT and Rey. If Rex has a target, Roark lets you shoot first and drop their attack when they are then forced to shoot at Biggs. Flying the list would be a bit like herding cats but it could be fun.
