Once per opportunity. Ashoka's ability triggers "At the start of the combat phase." Her timing window only happens once per round.

Agreed, for a TIE Fighter. But the rebels don't really have any pocket aces, so this could fill that gap, and if you escort her with things that are bigger threats then she'll probably get ignored for a bit.

Although Jake takes a stress and costs at least 4 points more to get that combo.

Jake is good, to be sure, but he gets pricey, too. The Ahsoka I mentioned is 23 points loaded, Jake is 22 without upgrades and he usually takes a missile. Once you break 30 points, I'd say you're not really a pocket ace anymore lol. Without that missile, his damage is nowhere near his cost. Also, in general, I wouldn't consider Slicer Tools a huge threat, but A wings are a big risk in the current climate.
