I have all the information from the Omaha regional, I'll try to get it uploaded when I have some time off next week. We just barely scraped together 9 players, as there was a fresh snow coming in and we lost 10+ participants from out of town.

I took home the win with a bit of a concept list. I really wanted to make large ships work, especially the ISD (it's the most iconic thing around, who doesn't want to fly them?!?), but was very aware of the squadron game. That in mind, here's how I ran it:

Looks like a good meta list, I have something I'm developing which is quite similar.

Due to the # of Rebels I'm seeing in the SoCal meta, I might be taking some pizza slices in the near future.

Getting at least the Top 4 together would be great.

Life/Work has kept me busy enough lately that I am behind on getting this updated. I am hoping to start getting the Wave 5 stuff in there soon.

I have the results for Calgary, but have lost track of information for the other 2017 results. If you posted anything on the 2017 could you please help me out and link it here?

Tarkin, 2x ISD1s, and a whole mess of TIE Fighters. Tied for top 4 except for MOV.

Suddenly, Armada has gone insane.

I updated my previous post with all lists from the tournament.

Some statistics:

• Both Empire and Rebels were more or less equally represented in general (52%/48%) and in Top8 (37%/66%) and Top4 (50%/50%)
• While there was a bunch of Imperial Commanders (Tarkin, Vader, Motti, Jerjerrod, Konstantine) only Tarkin and Motti made it to either Top8 or Top4.
• For Rebels the variety of admirals (Ackbar, Madine, Rieekan, Dodonna, Sato) went to top 8 as well (with every present admiral but Sato making it) and Top4 was represented by Ackar and Madine as the only two Rebel fleets there.
• Demolisher was present in 22% of all fleets, was only in one fleet in either Top8 or Top4 that ended up to be a winning fleet (However in that fleet it was used in a heavy anti-squadron role)
• Admiral's lifeboat was present only in 2 fleets in Top8 and only one of those fleets made Top4.
• There was an unusually high number of squadronless fleets (26%). Unfortunately none of them made Top8. (And yes, I feel bad about it)

That anti squad demo was an awesome antimeta choice IMO. Cordells fleet is very cool imo because of some of the choices it makes.

PT and Rein making it rain top 4's like always, nice work guys!

That Demo from Cordell is pretty interesting. It doesn't seem like its got that much power to hit but that's a pretty good squadron synergy with Rhymer. Though, not much is bad with Rhymer...

Also, only 1 large bid out of the whole group
